This was a fabulous tour with a very knowledgeable guide - packing a lot in, with a tour to the Dead Sea, Messada, the trip up the caves in the cable car. Fantastic. My only grip was that the check in procedure was clumsy - although I emailed in advance, the email in reply said I had to phone a local number on arrival, and the person answering had never heard of Viator! It all worked out fine in the end, but an online check in would be useful.

Apart from confusion about hotel pick-up point and time, the tour was in general well-planned
and organised. Instead of stopping at a Dead-sea cosmetic product shop I prefer a longer and
more thorough visit of Masada itself.

Loved our tour guide, Michael and the overall experience! Just wish that when we booked from Tel Aviv, the tour would have gone straight from Tel Aviv to the tour! We stopped in Jerusalem and wasted over 1.5 hours in traffic to pick up a few more customers. AC also not great on bus...

1 star rating: I do not recommend this March 2018

I was discriminated upon and I don't say this lightly. I transferred buses with my mother and daughter after threatened by the guide to shut up and sit. Said I looked like i understood Spanish and he would NOT speak English to me and my family because it was a waste of his time... Luis I believe was his name, Argentinian, made sure everyone knew that we looked Hispanic and we claimed to not speak Spanish. We are from Chicago and regardless of our last name and/or origin of our ancestors we had booked our trip to be guided in English. It was TERRIBLE and HUMILIATING since it was a bus full of people who looked down at us for not speaking/understanding Spanish. This guide kept on insulting our current president in the United States of America and North Korea Political issues. I exited the bus with my family at a restroom stop in Jerusalem because I was about to call the police on this guide that was mistreating us and a young lady from France to no end. I should had requested our money back but I managed to have this trip separately and the experience was positive after we left the toxic bus and guide we originated from. It was horrible. Viator is such a great tool for us that like to travel but like in all companies you have issues because of third parties, sadly this was one of those instances.... Sorry Viator you have to be more careful with who you trust your clients to, I do not tolerate insults, bad jokes and racial discrimination. I paid full price and expected to be treated with respect.
