This tour was beautiful! As we approached Jerusalem, we stopped for pictures of Old Jerusalem from a distance. Shortly after arriving in Old Jerusalem, we walked stations 5 through 14 of the Via Dolorosa. Along the way, our tour guide explained what happened when Jesus walked this path on His way to His crucifixion. There are many souvenir shops along the way. At the end of this path, we visited the Basilica of the Holy Sepulcher which is built in the location of the crucifixion and burial of Jesus. It was a very moving experience. Afterwards, we went to the Western Wall, also called the Wailing Wall which is the wall that remained after the Temple of Jerusalem was destroyed. It is considered the holiest place where Jews are permitted to pray. After leaving Old Jerusalem, we went to visit Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum on the western slope of Mount Herzl on the Mount of Remembrance in Jerusalem. This was a very moving experience. You could spend days there trying to see and absorb everything! However, we only had about 2 1/2 hours there. This tour was excellent and included a lot of interesting information, history and sights, and our tour guide was excellent and friendly. I would highly recommend it.
Very well-organised and informative. I am very much impressed by the in-depth knowledge of our guide Mr. Eyal.
The trip was extremely interesting and we had almost not free time, although we agree that to see what we have seen, there was no alternative. So this is the right timing. Itamar was also very knowledgeable about the places we have visited.
The tour was very good and we particularly liked our guide Amir who was knowledgeable and funny. He gave a very good perspective in a relatively short time. The tour was on time but not so tied to the schedule that we felt hurried. We of course could have spent more time at all of the sites but the tour was a great introduction for a return trip to Jerusalem. It met or exceeded our expectations.
Our guide Amir Call Or made this tour fantastic. He has an exuberant passion for his work that is displayed through his vast knowledge of Israel. Jerusalem is an amazing and complex place that deserves more than one tour but this is a great introduction.

Great way to see Jerusalem with an expert guide. Only problem when you do a tour is that you don't always have enough time at certain places. Could definitely have done with more time at Yad Vashem
But really enjoyed the day.
Loved this tour. Before booking, we were apprehensive this would be a large, impersonal bus tour but in fact it was a perfect size -- 12 Amir, like the 12 Tribes of Israel or the 12 Apostles. Amir looks a bit like The Dude and achieves the broad appeal of Nirvana -- whether you're a newbie or a sophisticate, you'll get something out of his incredible presence and presentation. He synthesizes geography, history, linguistics, modern politics and archaeology the last two of which, you'll learn, can be related!. Highly recommend this tour.
Very good tour. Luxery bus (but with no bathroom) picked us up at the front door of our hotel; which made it very easy for our family of 2 adults and 3 kids. Quick trip to Jerusalem with an excellent guide! Highly recommend this day tour.
This tour was the highlight of my vacation mostly because of the tour guide Amir. I have been on hundreds of tours but this individual sits in a class by himself. The very best!!!! The city of Jerusalem is amazingly beautiful and full of plenty of history!!
This tour was mostly old Jerusalem, with a very cursory driving tour of the new part. We ended at Yad Vashem. The tour was pretty well paced. Our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
Very good tour for someone with very few time to check Jerusalem and wants to see just a little bit of everything. Not enough though for someone who wants to see everything really into detail
Tour guide Michael was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Tour was conducted on schedule without issue. Jerusalem's Old City is a unique, ancient world. The air is heavy with history and spirituality. Highly recommended visit if you're in Israel.
great tour, a little bit short in jerusalum est but the guide was amazing
A very informative and helpful guide. Smooth pick up and drop off from the hotel. The lunch was pricey but the excellent view of old Jerusalem made it worthwhile make sure you sit on the top floor!. A pity there was not more time in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre - I would have been willing to join the queue to actually get into the sepulchre itself and sacrifice the hour spent in the over-priced and tacky souvenir shop!
Very much enjoyed the tour. I would have preferred a full day on the old aspects of Jerusalem, but my preferred tour wasn't available on the day I had free. Tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and informative as well as being friendly and easy to spend the day with. Would definitely look at taking another tour from this company if I visit Israel again.
Typical touristy tour, overall good experience. You get to see a lot in one day!
Due to several hotel pickups and a bus change the time from pickup in Tel Aviv to first stop in Jerusalem was about 2 hours and vice versa. Bus was fine 19 seats, 17 passengers.
Tour guide and bus driver were both very professional. We got lots of information while on the bus and visited all the sites mentioned in the tour description.
Mandatory stop at gift shop. No pressure to buy anything and you could just wait outside, but the precious time could have been spent better. Lunch break at the roof terrace of a restaurant all guests were tour groups. Great view, but food was mediocre as expected falafel sandwich was 35 NIS including can of soda iirc.
Visit to Yad Vashem was the last stop and self-guided which I found very appropriate. We had about 90 minutes there which is sufficient to get a first impression.
Before hotel drop-offs the guide kindly asked to tip the bus driver, but no pressure to do so and I think not many did.
Nice walking tour around the old city, didn't care too much for the lunch. Did get stuck at wailing wall while someone completed their prayers. Holocast museum interesting could use a little more time to go through. We had 1 1/2 hrs.
Booking on the internet was easy and we were picked up on time from a hotel near our apartment. However the swapping choches point was a bit chaotic and took ages. Itamar Book was our guide and he did a very good job of giving us lots of useful information, with the help of him "timeline". He was very knowledgeable and obviously moved by the final visit of the day, the Yad Veshem Holocaust Museum, where you must visit the memorial to the children. I don't want to spoil the effect this has by giving too much detail away. I don't think there was a dry eye in the house after that. It was a day of great contrasts, intense feeling and we all felt confident with Itamar at the helm.
My criticism is that we were ushered into a kebab house for lunch and offered a mediocre kebab for which we all had to pay a lot more than we had expected. If you are on a budget, bring your own lunch and drinks with you. Most of us had to get up too early for breakfast, so best to bring your own snacks and drinks. Bring shawls for churches to cover shoulders and all women must cover the knees at least. Good walking sandals or trainers are are recommended.
Absolutely amazing! Fantastic experience and our Tour Guide was amazing! Really professional and answered all of my questions. However, we didn't actually get a tour much of the New City. The only reason why I took away one star was because I think there should be an optional tour about having the Museum at the end. I found it really difficult personally as my family was affected by the Holocaust. But it was however a beautiful museum too!
This was a good overview of Jerusalem. Would have been nice to have a bit of free shopping time in the Old City.
Only charisma and energy of the guide allow to say that the tour not total waste of money.
It was just ok. Nothing spectacular about the tour. Its just a pretty good way to get around places. Less time spent on each destination except the gift shops that they want you to spend your money on (typical tourist trap). I did three consecutive days with this company and its all the same.
