Great tour, full day with guide who was very knowledgeable and entertaining.

Excellent tour for the money paid, picked up and delivered back to our hotel front door. Great day out seeing most of La Gomera. Lucy was served too. Lots of information given by our guide throughout. Great ferry journey from Los Christianos. Well worth considering. Last the whole day.
First class experience. Excellent guide who spoke English, Spanish, German and French. We got to see so much of this beautiful island. Good value for money
Enjoyed this trip to La Gomera immensely although did not manage to see any of the lizards that inhabit the island. The coach drivers are amazing, taking a car round the roads was an experience in itself. The whistling demonstration was great.

This was a very inexpensive way of touring another island, which one would not normally get to see. It is the 2nd smallest of the 7 Canary Islands, and is an ancient volcano as are the others. We toured all the way round, stopping for lunch, which was OK, although not particularly inspiring. The whistling demonstration was interesting, and especially that young people are being taught the art, to prevent it dying out. We finished with an hour in the capital it was siesta, so not a lot to do, but all in all, a worthwhile day. Oliver was our guide again, and he is brilliant.
I agree with Vilma G.--the trip was amazing! It was 5 of us traveling and we had the best time because of the great guide--Joaquiam. Weather in November was great and mountains looked breathtaking. If you visit the Canaries, you definitely must take this tour.
A stunning island! Defently a must see if you come to Canarian islands. Amazing views of green valleys, fruit trees and lovely cosy villages. Very interesting and leaving a very good impression trip. Local wine and food was delicious. Also very interesting to see how the locals speak their language - whisle. Great trip, a very professional guide and unforgetable memories!
This was a well organised trip with a very well informed and genial guide, Joaquiam. I was lucky the weather was fine and sunny and was able to fully appreciate the island. It was astonishing value too! Pick up, sail to La Gomera, island tour and lunch. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Tenerife.
Amazing! La Gomera is amazing, and the tour is very good!
The guide spoke 4 languages and was an amazing person!
We really enjoyed this tour. I am not a big fan of bus tours, but this was really good. Our guide was great, really knowledgeable and very friendly. It was a nice day trip and we got to see a beautiful island we would not have seen otherwise
We were very well looked after, no rush very informative on the tour the guide was very good speaking in all the languages to accomadate the people on the trip would recommend the company that took us to anyone.
What a great trip! What a great value! We were on the go, seeing and doing something different at every turn. Fabulous scenery!
Good tour of the Island but a lot of time spent on the bus. Guide was very informative however as there were many different nationalities on the tour the guide spent a long time repeating the information in at least 5 languages which was a bit off putting. Lunch was far better than previous reviews. More time in San Sebastion the capital would have been appreciated.

Good tour only down side was the ferry was extremely late making it a very long day. Excellent guide and made sure we got back to hotel very quickly
I would have given this excursion 5 stars if the guide had not let us down at the end of the tour.
This was an excellent day tour and well worth 63 which included bus transfers, ferry to La Gomera, full guided tour of a lot of the island and a three course lunch. We booked with Viator and the lovsl tour provider was Tenerife Sunshine SL.
We were picked up at 7am from our resort El Medano. We drove for approximately one hour and then changed buses. This was a little confusing but we worked it out.
We met our tour guide Peter who was a very hardworking tour guide delivering the tour in English, Spanish and German. Unfortunately, Peter, due to his own fault was not happy when he finally left us on our arrival back to Los Cristianos ferry terminal after the trip, but more about that soon.
We were amazed by the size of the ferry. It is huge and takes all kinds of motorised traffic too. The journey time is about one hour ten minutes. Its a lovely comfortable trip, and there are plenty of seats, toilets and snack areas. They also provide musical entertainment during the trip which is great fun.
La Gomera is GORGEOUS and is a must see when you are in Tenerife. It is very like Madeira, but on a smaller scale. Its largest export is bananas. The ferry docks in the capital San Sebastian, a very pretty town.
Our tour was a circular one by bus taking in San Sabastian La Carbonera Agulo we had lunch here in Restaurante La Zula Las Rosas Garajonay National Park Los Roques San Sabastian. We also stopped for a coffee break in the national park, where we could purchase our own drinks/snacks. It was chilly here, I was delighted to have a large whiskey at the little bar in the park.
When we got back to San Sabastian, we had some free time there before the short 10 minute walk back to the Ferry. While we waited we strolled around this pretty capital and had coffee and wine in a very nice cafe in the main square under the shade of the massive bay trees.
After the ferry trip back to Los Cristianos, this is where Peter let us down. Because a number of guests on his bus had been ignorant during the tour speaking to each other during his commentary he blamed the whole bus, and all he said on leaving was Bye, no proper goodbye and no thank you for our attendance. This really frustrated me as we had already thanked him with a generous tip. It was his own fault that the guests would not shut up. He did not tell them forcefully enough to be quiet and so they kept on being loud. He could have easily taken control of the situation much earlier and nipped it in the bud but for some reason he chose not to. In fact during the tour some of the other guests tried to shush the noiser ones, but to no avail.
I loved La Gomera, however Tenerife Sunshine SL tours need to give their guides guidelines on how to deal with disruptive guests on the tours. Im a tour guide, its not difficult to do and will result in a very happy tour for everyone.
Overall though, I would recommend La Gomera.
Lovely day trip to La Gomera. Beautiful scenery and well organised. The only criticism was the time spent in picking up and dropping off customers before boarding the boat.
If you want to see La Gomera, this trip is well worth it. Very well organised and a good day out. The only downside was the lunch - herded like cattle into the cafe and the food was dire.
Very impressed with organisation. I forgot my passport which is needed for the ferry to La Gomera. Tour organisers were happy to re-arrange.
I enjoyed the actual trip to the island although I found the guide a bit authoritarian. The purpose of the day, for me, was mainly photography and it is a bit demeaning to be treated like children and continually being told to pay attention when trying to take photographs.
I would also question whether it is necessary for a guide to talk continuously for what seemed like every minute of the trip.
However, he was probably only trying to be helpful - he just needs to tone it down a bit and remember that we are paying customers.
There was a lot covered and some of the background information was interesting.
Boat trip was lovely so was the scenery on the island. The lunch was poor
