The guide was very informative and multilingual to cater for the mix of Spanish and British visitors. Guide to visible constellations followed by use of a high powered telescope to view particular constellations etc e.g. clusters and Saturn's rings.
The location is a few miles away from the cable car for those that wish to go to the top earlier in the day, and also further along are a few restaurant/cafes for food/toilet facilities.
Great trip, would have given 5 star but for a few minor issues. Make sure you have access to get up the mountain as there is limited to no public transport. We were advised a taxi from Adeje would be in the region of 500 euros as it is so remote we ended up getting a hire car discounted at 80 euros for 3 days. It is also quite a winding road. We were also advised it can be quite cold night time above cloud cover - was colder than expected and even in trousers and hoodies, the breeze was quite chilly! Suggest taking a blanket to wrap up in to be on the safe side.

We were expecting maybe too much out of this experience. Ofcourse it was very cold and we had thought there might be some sort of 'observatory' arrangement. This was not the case so we froze a little, despite being warmly clothed. The fact that we had a talk which went on a bit and then had to queue for the sightings was OK but not great. Maybe could do with being a better organised 'experience'. Long drive there and back for not a lot.
