The trip to Fatima was a pleasant day out. The guide, Dominique, was kind and informative. The shrine itself was lovely, and the town of Fatima was a nice, relaxing place. I enjoyed the trip.

However, it was not as described in the itinerary. There was no stop at the Moeda caves. They were never mentioned during the entire trip. So we never saw any caves, stalagtites, stalagmites, or underground waterfall.

We did go to a factory shop which sold religious tourist trinkets. That was OK, and it was quite nice to get souvenirs. The shrine in Fatima itself was spectacular. We were lucky in that it was relatively quiet, so we were able to wander as we pleased. There was time to get lunch and wander around the town before we went to the village where the three childred lived. We were able to visit the two houses and also meet some surviving relatives of the children.

All in all, it was a pleasant day out, and our guide was helpful, but you should take out the bit about the caves because we never went there.
