A great way to see some highlights of Seville in a day. It was great to be picked up and dropped off at your hotel so no worries. It was a very long day but we knew that ahead of time. The bus was very comfortable.
Would recommend this tour. We were picked up in Quarteira at 5.45. When we got to Seville we had a short tour of the city on the bus before Celia led us on foot to the historic centre and gave helpful information. We then had nearly 5 hours free time.
We had a great day on this trip! We saw some previous reviews and to be honest thought they were really petty. Yes, it was a long journey but Seville is a long way from the Algarve, what do people expect?! The journey was comfortable on air conditioned coach with a coffee break either way. We had an early start with being based in Portimao again to be expected!! but that did not bother us. Overall very well organised, Ana was a great tour guide who seemed fluent in all three languages she spoke and was very friendly. Once in Seville you get a tour of the city on the bus so you don't have to pay for the sightseeing bus- bonus! Ana then gave us a 10 minute walking tour to the central points and the rest of the time was down to us! Obviously you will not get to see an entire city in one day but Ana gave us great advice on where to visit. Obviously in August Seville is going to be hot so those who complained about that really?! but there are plenty of places to get out of the sun. We had a great trip which was well run and organised and would recommend. This is charming city.
So well organised and our guide Ana and driver Pedro were fabulous!
Definitely recommend this trip for a taster of Seville... just long enough to whet your appetite for more.
Though this is a very long trip from the Western part of Algarve, it is definitely worth the effort. We were picked up from the hotel at 05:55 and returned around 7 pm. We had practically 5 hours of free time to visit the central part of gorgeous Seville, and have a quick snack break along the way it is not worth wasting time in a restaurant when there are so many beautiful monuments to discover in perfect weather!. The guide was pleasant and efficient in managing a big group : she distributed a street map of central Seville so that we could find our way around the town.
This was an excellent introduction to this part of the country i had never seen. Seville is beautiful and the highlight was the spanish plaza. Absolutely stunning!! Thank you so much!!
Trip was well orginized. The only down side was the long bus drive but that's because we were comiong from Lagos, Portugal.
Great tour of Seville if short on time. Early pickup, which went smoothly. It was a long day but to be expected. We choose the Seville gothic cathedral, which was spectacular and enjoyed some shopping.
Beautiful city of Seville. We were picked up very early and had to travel west as far as Albafeura before we headed to Seville- however well worth it! The bus driver was Paulo and Dominique was an amazing and informative guide with the ability of at least 5 languages. Be careful that you don't get ripped off with the horse and carriage ride- settle what you are able to pay before you get on! The river cruise was lovely and cool.
Although I loved traveling to Seville, I couldn't give this 5 stars because of the initial issue we encountered. After booking the tour and having confirmed the pickup location via email, I was not on the driver's list to be picked up. You can imagine how upsetting it would be to get up at 4am for a 5:45am pick up just to be turned away by the driver. However, I later was able to speak with someone who offered a refund or reschedule. We really wanted to do this tour so we rescheduled luckily we had a few more days to play with while in Portugal. On the rescheduled day there were no issues. There was a lot of time given to pick others up but we had a good amount of time in Seville. Definitely not enough to fully explore everything, time goes by quickly - but it was all we can handle due to the heat! Seville was beautiful and we were glad we rescheduled the trip.
Great day out, really hot but we were expecting that! Guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We went on the river trip which she had recommended.
The only thing I wasn't too happy about was that the first part of the trip from Cabanas was actually by minibus and it was stuffy- not good when you suffer from travel sickness. Couldn't the big coach, which we met up with later and transferred, do the pick ups? Also- be prepared for the fact that they didn't actually pick us up or return us to our hotel but from/to a bus stop a few minutes walk away.
These was very nice tour very nice driver Pedro its a very nice city too bad it was so hot almost 40 that day ..we did the boat tour 14 euros its so so not that worth ..so far a lot to see on the way ...it was okay...
We took this trip from Quarteira, Portugal. Our pickup was right on time. Found the information given during the drive beneficial and the short orientation upon arrival very helpful. We liked having the free time instead of organized tours to attractions we might not have wanted to go to. Will use Viator again.
Great organization, great tour guide, great city, only complaint was no leg room, and I'm only 5'10and my knees were hitting the seat in front for 3 hours each way.
The day was good but really hot at 45 degrees in Seville that day.
Driver and guide were very good and polite. I did feel that the three hours in Seville were not really long enough when you took out the time to find a lunch place and eat. If I was to go to Seville again, I would stay overnight and return the next day, allowing more time for shopping and sightseeing. I wanted to do the horse and cart trip around Seville, but did not have enough time since the experience was to take 50 minutes.
Very well organized but a very long day. As we were the first to be picked up and the last to be dropped off, we found 15 hours a very long day. The tour director, Ana was fantastic: knowledgeable and very pleasant. Seville was extremely hot that day 44 degrees celsius so that made the day difficult for some. However,we were glad that we experienced it.
Came from Lagos.. So a long drive! But certainly worth it. Savilla is stunning! The city is fantastic!!
There was only 3 hours to spend on your own in the city, after a walking tour with our guide and boat tour we had about an hour to ourselves for lunch and there was so much more to see and do.
Pretty much what we expected it was more Transportation to Seville than a Tour.
This tour tries to please everyone but doesnt succeed in doing so. The group, at 51 persons, was far too big. A small group of 5 or 6 would work much better. Ana, our tour leader provided an overview and an orientation of the main points of interest in Seville, but it could never be a guided tour because of the large group size. Whisper sync headsets would help too if it were a true guided tour.
We were picked up in a town 20 minutes drive from our accommodation, nothing closer was acceptable to the company. But the biggest inconvenience was their insistence on a printed voucher for the tour. Very few people pack a portable printer when they travel, and it was almost impossible to find a business which was willing to print our voucher, either in the Algarve or in Lisbon. The company states that electronic copies of their voucher on a smart phone are acceptable, yet insisted we have a printed copy because the local provider did not have a means of scanning the electronic voucher.
This was more a busride to Seville than a guided tour. I think more time should have been allotted in the city. We only had enough time to tour the Cathedral, which was amazing, and eat lunch before having to return to the bus. A departure at 6 pm instead of 3 pm would have allowed us to see some other things, like the Plaza de Espana. If you go mind your time and pick your one or two hot spots, you won't have time for much more.
Seville is a beautiful city just wish we had more time there. I would suggest 1-2 central location pick-up spots for travellers to Seville. There was at least 2-3 hrs. to and from that was wasted on picking up and dropping off passengers. We found the boat cruise extremely disappointing and would not promote it the water stunk of fish and the sights were mediocre.
Carlos our guide was nice, a lot of us felt he did more of the tour in Portuguese than English. We got to Seville around 11:30 and we and #39;re given until 3:30 to explore the place (pack your own lunch-time saver). It was worth the money regardless and has made me want to go back and explore more
