A big reason I booked our trip to Japan was to visit Tsukiji Market before it moves. I enjoyed trying various Japanese foods- including the ones I didn't like and was glad I hadn't actually ordered in a restaurant! I never would have found or been brave enough to enter the inner market without our guide's direction. Highly recommend visiting the market if you can before it moves!

Thank you Naoko for the amazing tour! This review is a little late, we did the tour on December 26th. Such a great experience. We tried so much delicious food, and had all our (many) questions answered. Naoko was so kind, friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the traditions. Excellent!

AWESOME tour! AWESOME food! AWESOME guide! A good tour of the outer and inner market. Food tastings were good, especially the Japanese omelet and the raw tuna on skewers. Our guide, Yoshie was great! She was very well informed about the market and also helpful in giving us suggestions/directions to other points of interest in Tokyo. Highly recommend taking this tour of the original market before they move to the new location!

This was an amazing tour! Toshi was awesome and took us to great parts of the fish market. We even got to hold a huge Tuna fish in the market highlight of our trip. Toshi was knowledgable and gave us a bunch of fun facts that we would have never known about unless we took this tour. I have already recommended this tour to multiple friends who are visiting Tokyo! Thanks so much for the great experience!

Toshi was our tour guide and we were taken on an intimate group tour we only had a total of 3 plus Toshi to tour around Tsukiji and within the market itself. We were visiting from California, USA while the other person in our group was from Norway. We met up at a temple nearby and he was able to give us not only information on Tsukiji but also history and information about other Japanese culture items and places nearby to the Tsukiji Fish Market. I found it was really great how we were able to sample different foods, not only of sushi, but of other Japanese snacks and foods. Being we could have tried to recreate the tour on our own, we would not have been able to have been able to highlight all the parts of the area in an efficient way and also we definitely would have been lost while walking around. Toshi also was so knowledgeable and fully fluent in English so he was able to answer any questions we had.
I really appreciated our time with him and touring the area and would do something similar to this in the future. When we went to visit a temple, he was able to explain a lot of symbolism and what people do customarily. It was all very educational and interesting.
Toshi, Thank you so much for taking us around! Eric and Elizabeth

My tour guide was Chihiro and she was absolutely wonderful. She answered all my questions, was patient, and was highly knowledgeable. Chihiro shared about the workings of the Fish market as we toured the stalls and informed of us of Japanese culture and customs. I highly recommend this tour!

Kumi, our guide, was amazing! We went as a family of four and she made sure she explain everything for both adults and children 13yrs and 12yrs. The children enjoyed this as much as we did and we had the opportunity to try many types of food ending with lunch at a Standing sushi bar. The experience was interesting, enlightening and fun! We would definitely do this again.

This tour was incredible - especially the inner market! Even our 9 year old found it fascinating! Both of our guides were lovely, but the main guide, Hiroku, was very knowledgeable and, kindly, answered our questions. She spoke very good English. Tastings were fun and the sushi lunch was excellent!
