This experience was one of the highlights of our trip! We met decendants of real life Ninja's, learned about the history of Ninjas and practiced actual rituals and skills. We dressed in Ninja attire and were taught about their lives and activities. It was presented very professionally and yet it was so much fun and interesting. We've recommended it to many of our friends.

This experience was above and beyond any expectations I had. We were very pleased with it. As a matter of fact, my 17 year old said for him, it was highlight of our trip. Thank you for the exciting ninja experience. Highly recommended.

Interpreter Sakura was awesome. Met us promptly at the train station and walked us to the dojo. Lesson was a great mix of history and instruction on the mental and physical aspects of ninja training. Interactive elements were super fun.

A great experience! Informative, fun, and just a little bit mysterious. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to learn a little more about the ninja way.

The ninja experience is great and totally worth for those who want to try something different in Tokyo. We booked a time for 2 people and we were the only ones there, so we could enjoy it a lot not sure if they mix groups.
By the time we booked the tour, there were other similar tours in Viator that explicitly said that a guide would pick you up at Tabata station. On the email for this one, there were instructions to get to the dojo, so that's what we did. When we got there, the place seemed to be empty, so we said Sumimasen! and the ninja opened the door for us. Then we got to know that we were actually supposed to meet the guide at the station, and not come to the dojo directly. This wasn't clear in the instructions, and we believe this may have offended them, so the beginning was a bit sour.
However, with time the guide/translator and the ninja showed to be very friendly people, and we had a great time with the lessons. While we were practicing, the guide had our camera and was constantly taking pictures and shooting videos, so we have great memories of the tour! The ninja speaking in Japanese and translated by the guide was telling many things about the history of the ninja.

It was really fun and interesting experience! We not only get to hands on with some of the weapons and moves, i think most importantly we get to gain a lot of knowledge about Ninjas.
Our master also showed us a lot of powerful moves and our translator Miyabi was also a super cute and helpful ninja. Her english is really good too.

I will strongly recommend this tour for anyone who likes to try something unique that you can only find in Japan!
