Overall a great tour. Our guide gave us a lot of interesting trivia about Japan and Tokyo during our drives. The bus was clean and comfortable and thanks to traffic generally on-time. The Onsen was a nice break as we toured during winter, there was a restaurant available for guests who didn't want to bathe. The Outlet shopping was what you would expect in any Outlet Mall in the US except all of the sizing is to Japanese proportions. There were a few non-clothing stores such as Pokémon Store that really made the trip worthwhile.
The tour was amazing because the weather was bright and sunny. We got all the way to the 4th station in December. It was beautiful and spectacular! The tour was on schedule the entire time. Definitely worth it to do the buffet lunch. It is in a shinobi ninja village and food was plentiful and delicious and the place itself has a fantastic view of Mt. Fuji. Then the onsen has a fantastic view as well if you bath outside, that was incredible. If you haven't done onsen, you definitely should try it and don't skip it. The men and women are separate and yes you do have to bath naked. But it is really fantastic. Then the outlet mall also has a very nice view of Mt. Fuji but the mall itself is just like many other outlet malls, still definitely worth it. Got back around 7:30pm. Was a really amazing tour! Posted some photos but no photos allowed for/from Onsen obviously.
Such an amazing day! I loved the time at Mt. Fuji and the onsen was a once in a lifetime experience. My only suggestion is to spend less time at the Outlet Mall and more time at Mt. Fuji and the onsen.
This was a really great day out of Tokyo. Tour was really good. Buffet lunch was excellent and plenty of time at the factory outlets for shopping. Enjoyed very much. Dianne from Brooklyn, NY

A fun day to visit Mount Fuji on many levels: first a visit to the 5th station, which at 2,300-meters above sea level is the highest point reached to the summit of the mountain by vehicles. After traditional Japanese lunch ours was at a Ninja Village you'll proceed to a hot water bath or onsen - and those who don't which to take a bath can nap for an hour at the quiet area of the place. The last portion of the tour was at the Gotemba Outlets - a huge open door plaza that is literally in the shadows of Mount Fuji: from a bridge linking between the east and western parts of the plaza there is a magnificent view of Mount Fuji - in itself worth the visit to the Outlets. Make sure to bring your passport for the paperwork needed for the duty-free shopping.
On the day Mt Fuji was being shy and we didn't get to see her. Our Guide was very informative and helpful and made it a great day.
Very well organised and good value for money. Our tour guide was brilliant - her English and enthusiasm was fantastic.
A long day but well worth the trip. Mr. Fuji was beautiful, the onsen was fantstic and the outlets were fine but nothing special
We always use Viator as go to when we want to do tons of things in one day and know we can't do it on our own. They have always come through for us! easy stress free relaxing day. Bus pick up at nearby hotel, right to what we wanted to do. Do order the lunch, it was WAY better than anticipated for tour food and the locale was charming. The guide was funny and friendly. Hot springs was heaven. Mall had many Japan local stores like Beams new favorite clothing store and the typical international fare. Fauchon saved me a trip to Paris for teas not sold in US Great day overall!
Awesome trip! We booked about 4 months in advance, it had poured down with rain the day before and was not looking hopeful... but by fluke chance it was a stunning day and not a cloud in the sky and we were able to see the full view of Mount Fuji!
The trip was well organised and we were able to squeeze a lot into the day! We were able to go right up to the 5th station! I opted to exclude lunch and luckily we had packed lunch as the trip states there are shops to buy food, but really there is only ice-cream and small things available, so I would definitely recommend packing lunch if you are excluding it from your tour! There is however an amazing outdoor garden with a foot bath and ninja house.
The onsen was also fantastic and had a nice outdoors area with a range of pools as well as indoor pools and saunas. The outside area also provided a nice view of Mt Fuji!
The shopping trip had many stores, however they were mainly high end stores, so that is one thing to keep in mind. There were a ton of shops and I was only able to get half of the outlet done my own fault as I took a longgggg time looking around.
This tour was absolutely fantastic, if you time it right and get a clear day it is well worth going and I would definitely recommend it!
The tour was great, well organized Suki san was professional ! Should experienced as well
It was a unique experience. My family enjoyed every minute of it. Our guide was very friendly and took care of us.
Great tour! Our tour guide was very sweet, funny and helpful. Even though our time to take pictures was short 40-ish minutes, Mt. Fuji came out from behind a cloud just as we arrived so the view was lovely. The lunch buffet had a vegetarian option or a chicken option, which worked really well for my group and the place where we went had a really pretty garden right outside so we got some more pretty pictures of Fuji! The view of Fuji you get from the onsen is also gorgeous and we enjoyed get to soak in the hot water both indoors and outdoors! The outlet mall has a lot of brands you get in America, and some that you don't. Overall, we had an awesome time!
Our tour guide was sweet and highly knowledgeable. The overall experience was great and worthwhile as a first time visitor to Japan. The only thing to consider is the limited time you have to spend at Mount Fuji approx. 40 mins so you really have to snap as many pictures as you can. For those who opted for the lunch deal with the tour package, it was a buffet held at a ninja restaurant yes you read correctly. For those who didn't purchase the lunch deal like myself, you can order off a menu at the restaurant. You get a nice hour to soak in the Onsen which was relaxing. I was apprehensive at first about having 2 hours to spend at a shopping outlet, but it turned out that some stores had good deals, along with delicious eateries if you have the munchies.
Amazing trip. We were so luck to have gone on a sunny day and everything was so clear! Mt Fuji looking at her best from all places. The Onsen was just as good and we got so lucky to see Mt Fuji clearly from the tub! Apparently its rare to see her with such clarity. all smiles! We did spend more time at the shops than at the onsen and felt a little rushed. The bus ride back was too long though.. peak hour traffic drained us...
The tour guide was amazing, and they took us to all the places mentioned. I only wish we could've gone higher in Mount Fuji but the weather didn't permit that that day so probably our bad luck. The experiences were all new except for the shopping part, and in all it was a pleasant experience for a reasonable rate.
Awesome, the arrangement are excellent, Lunch is great! Dont miss it
Our Tour Guide his name is Take is very professional, polite, responsible, and patient. He has made the trip very enjoyable. His English is very fluent, giving detailed introduction of Tokyo in general and the sightseeing spots along the bus route. He even sang a Mt. Fuji song for us in Japanese and demonstrated origami on the bus! The driver sorry I didn't get his name is also very professional with safe and stable driving. Bus is clean and comfortable. The onsen venue is nice too, not too crowded. We were very lucky that day to have clear sky and be able to see Mt. Fuji with perfect conical shape and snow on it. Overall, we're very happy with this tour and would highly recommend this tour to other travellers. We would even join a Mt. Fuji hiking tour with this company when it's the right season.
Awesome trip. Only suggestion would be that the Onsen could be done after the shopping.
Our tour guide was informative and nice. The onsen experience was the best part of the trip. We would have preferred to stay there longer and forego the outlets.
The tour was great and what we had expected based on their descriptions. The guide was very patient and very accommodating. When we reached the 5th station of mt fuji, we didnt get to see the peak since it was cloudy. But on the way back home, the skies started to clear up and we are very very grateful tp the driver im sorry i forgot his name : for stopping at a location where we got down and had our pctures taken even if we were already running late going home. Thank you sooo much and will definitely recommend this to our friends!:
