Great day! I only had one free day while visiting Tokyo for business and this tour was a great way to see several different things. The guide Mia was very knowledgeable and gave just the right amount of commentary. We were lucky enough to catch 2 traditional wedding ceremonies at the shrine and had the right amount of time to shop at the temple market. The imperial gardens are amazing and I would love to go back when they are in bloom. Lunch was good though it would have been nice to sit as a bit group rather than in small tables. We didnt necessarily see or learn much on the boat tour but it was nice to be out on the water. Overall a great value and a nice way to easily see a few sights in Tokyo.
This was an amazing tour. Worth the money and the time. Good way to spend the day in Tokyo.
This was the best investment I could make for a one-day visit to Tokyo. The tour was very well planned to cover as much as possible in the short one-day time span. The English speaking guide was simply amazing - tons of insights into Tokyo and Japan life - always willing to answer any question, and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour!
Loved this tour. Kaori-san was a great tour guide. Very organized and knowledgeable. Would love more time at the Meji temple. Great spots in Tokyo and I definitely recommend this tour!
Great tour of many major key points in Tokyo. Our tour guide was very informative and friendly.
Loved it. Highly recommended. We stayed in an airbnb in Shinjaku and it was very close of the bus terminal the tour leaves. Very easy and informative.
Very informative tour and great tour guide. Tokyo Bay Cruise was simply breathtaking!
This was a fabulous tour, our guide was very informative about this beautiful city. It was well organised and covered many highlights of the city, finishing with a Geisha dancer.
The tour was very good and informative. There was no rush visiting Meiji Shrine or Asakusa Temple. The cruise was nice as well. Highly recommend it for the overview of Tokyo.
The tour guide was very well-versed, very interesting and helpful. She was very much more than we were expecting. She was awesome. I loved the Symphony cruise serenading classic music and the fine dining lunch served at d restaurant overlooking the bay.. Also my other favorite was the walk at the East Side of the Imperial Palace. My mom and I had a really grand time..Thank you so much :
Perfect day to know all the most important sights of Tokyo! Perfect organisation, friendly and helpful guide! A little bit trying but a best way to sightseeing! Never in my life i will forget this day, specially with the geisha - dance!
The Meiji Shrine is amazing, So many scenes to take pictures of. We happened onto to a real Japanese wedding party that day and lots of guest dressed up in traditional garb and that was exciting to see. The grounds are so well kept and so much to see. The Asakusa temple is a very busy place and has a great shopping area and with local foods and all kinds of trinkets to sell. You could spend all day here since there is so much to see and do. Make sure you have local currency to spend there. The bay cruise gives you a great view of the skyline of the city. Loved this tour, would do it again if I ever get back to Tokyo.
Excellent value for money. Tour guide professional and knowledgeable.
This was a great day!! We covered a lot of things to see. Had sufficient time to see everything. Thoroughly enjoyed the cruise, lunch was excellent too!!
Great tour! Our tour guide Narumi was awesome, she was very funny and informative and kept everyone on track. We did lose 2 but she didnt leave them and it shorten our Asakusa free time, but was too big of a deal. The sights were amazing, timing was perfect. I would suggest opening up to more hotels. I was staying at Hotel East 21 and had to catch the subway to Bus Terminal to board for the tour. Subways can be intimidating and overwhelming for people who have never had the experience. I, however, had no problems but I can see others being frustrated. I would definitely recommend Sunrise Tours and ask for Narumi, you wont be disappointed.
Very efficient tour guide and well knowledgeable. Highly recommended!
This is a great tour to start with on your first trip to Tokyo. The tour guide was great in explaining everything we saw along the way. She was very helpful in making sure we all have a smooth tour and kept reminding us to not be late back to the tour bus. The bus leaves each site on time so don't be late. We experienced her leaving 3 customers behind since they were not back on time. She even gave them 15 mins past the time to get back. Overall if you want to see a lot of Tokyo in a day, then start with this tour. You will enjoy it.
We were in Japan for a 14 day visit and the day we took this tour was the only rained hard. Good direction explaining where in Tokyo station to meet. PIck-up on was right on time. Great tour guide good English as well as the number of stops we made were more than I've expected. The cost of the tour was very good less than 90 US per person which included a small but good lunch with great view top of the hotel restaurant in Tokyo Bay. The tour concluded in their tour office with traditional dance as well as a Ninja dance from a local Ninja show tour company. Overall, a great tour and highly recommended. We only wish we had a better weather....
We had a great tour of Tokyo. Our guide was knowledgeable and provided us lots of information. It was
a terrific introduction to Tokyo.
sunrise staff very kind, punctual and when tours ends always checking with customers the way to get back to hotel and metro/city information
This was a great way to knock out some of Tokyo's major sites. Though we only got to stay at each place for a short amount of time, it was enough to take in the beauty of each site. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. She really took the time to make sure everyone was accounted for during each stop and at the end of the tour she made sure that everyone knew how to get to their final stop - whether it be hotel or additional sightseeing. Would recommend to any first timers in Tokyo.
