What You Can Expect

Tokyo Bay Cruise with Dinner and Oiran Show

Oiran show

Your cruise departs from Tokyo’s Hinode Port at 7:30pm, so please arrive at the docking point at least 15 minutes in advance. As you climb on board the boat, you’ll be greeted by performers from the cabaret show.

Oiran Show is presented and performed by one of the most popular and reputable companies in Japan - Shiki (Four Seasons) Company. The performance is a blend of traditional Japanese dance, such as kabuki style and courtesan style and the performer will also invite audience to participate. The show was originally designed for both Japanese and international audience and everyone should be able to enjoy it regardless of nationalities and ages. While you are being entertained by the show, enjoy the course dinner and one drink.

As you cruise around Tokyo Bay, admiring the neon glimmer of Japan’s capital, colorfully clad performers combine traditional Japanese dance with audience participation and singing. Following two hours on the water, return to dry land and disembark at your original departure point.

the Oiran Show was really great and worth the watch! The host explained that he didn't speak much English, but he and the 2 Geishas made an extra effort to keep us engaged. One of the ladies in our party was celebrating her birthday, so they kept shouting Happy Birthday to her throughout the show.

The food.... well, let's just say, you don't go on the cruise for the food. It was all fried and carbohydrate dishes that wasn't something worth writing home about. Noodles, watery crab cakes, etc though the fried rice was good! Drinks alcoholic ones too were included, so it wasn't a total loss on the food and beverage.
