So glad we did this cruise, not only for the night lights around the bay but for the family interaction.
We had a window table, silver service and a lovely meal. Our waiter was very helpful and was explaining everything from food to scenery. We think he was practising his English and doing very well. He made our night so much better.
I am not sure but I think if you booked a weekend dinner it maybe buffer this was so much better
This was an amazing adventure great little cake for my husbands birthday and staff sang happy birthday with us too
It really was incredible. Food was great, you get seated in a gorgeous room and fed well. when they are boarding, don't stress that you need to get on right away. Just board with your group because you have a dedicated table.

The service was excellent, we had a five course meal and a free glass of wine and coffee so this trip was excellent value for money. We ate during the cruise out and took time to enjoy the view on the way back. You can go up to the top deck for photos but bring a warm coat
A good way to see Tokyo Bay, staff and service are amazing. Amazing and fresh food. Be advised that if you have meal requirements, to confirm with the tour company directly. Even though Viator tell you to mention meal requirements vegetarian in the case of my wife when booking, it means nothing. Luckily the cruise was able to accommodate on the night and made an amazing vegetarian meal on short notice. In fact, maybe just don't use Viator, you'll get the tour cheaper from other companies.
Simply the best thing we did on our whole trip to Tokyo. This was our final night in Tokyo and from start to finish this was simply awesome. The 5-course meal was top-notch, the cruise was super smooth and the views were fantastic. The boat was amazing. For the money I couldn't be happier. Even my teenage son loved it and you know how teenagers like to hate everything!!
I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed my time on your cruise. The ship was beautifully appointed. Silver and monogramed dinnerware. The staff was very attentive, friendly and capable. The ones who spoke English made themselves available and took the time to chat about our plans in Tokyo. And the food was amazing too.
I was genuinely surprised when our waiter took up our plates after we were seated. And happy to see that it wasn't a buffet as advertised, but a seated dinner with white glove service.
Dinner consisted of four courses: salmon sashimi topped with caviar, steamed fish over tomatoes, Japanese steak and tomato wedges and and a chocolate torte with ice-cream, melon and red grapefruit.
And while, many of the staff did not speak English, this didn't affect our experience in any way. This is an excellent way to introduce Tokyo to a first time visitor or of escaping the hustle and bustle of the city to the ones who've been touring the massive city all day. You can view the city from the streets, from above and from below, the cruise gives you excellent sightseeing opportunities to seeing the iconic landmarks from yet another perspective... from the water.
The food was delicious and the service was great and there was live music in every dining room as well as the upstairs lounge. We enjoyed our window seat which offered a wonderful view to see the lovely bridges, harbor businesses and skyline. We watched planes coming in overhead to Haneda Airport. The lights were dimmed at specific times to insure great views to the movie being played just outside our windows.
After dinner, we were able to move freely about the yacht to enjoy the scenery from the top deck or the various lounges. Fortunately, the weather was beautiful. Being so far from the city allows you to truly take in the sights without the glare of the city lights.

Excellent outing. It rain that night but it did not discourage us from having a GREAT time. I can just imagine what it would have been like under better weather.
What a delightful surprise. This dinner cruise was much more than we expected. The boat was spotless, the crew delightful as well as being warm and friendly, the food was excellent and the service great. One of the best values in Japan.
Excellent trip. When we arrived at the ferry, we wondered what we had let ourselves in for as it was very chaotic. However, once separated and on board, the view, food and service were exceptional. The lady playing the piano made the ambience magical.
Excellent cruise, great dining room a la carte service, 4 courses.a shame about the rain but great dining made up for it.make sure you book for 4 seasons dining because not all passengers have this dinner included. Even very good value about 100 aud per person. Cannot recommend too highly.
I took this tour as a surprise for my husband's birthday and it was as good as I wanted it to be. He loved this surprise a lot since I am vegetarian I requested for a vegetarian meal and I was glad that they provided me with good vegetarian meal as well. There was live music and the entire cruise was a lovely experience. I'd definitely recommend this cruise to anyone who is in Tokyo and wants to have a quality time with their loved ones!
It was good. The only issue was we had to find our way there and there was no chance of a window table. We were placed on a platform. Otherwise it was ok. Could do with some information on sights and entertainment.
We enjoyed this activity among all the tour we booked. The staff are very polite. The food was great and the cruise and the experience was incredible. It was a wonderful night for all of us and we enjoyed it.
We enjoyed the cruise and the sights. The food was good, but not great. Fish was overcooked. It would've been nice to have seen the menu prior to the cruise.
lovely food, lovely views. excellent experience and value for money. The staff are not very friendly though.
It was an OK tour. It probably would have been much better had it not been pouring rain. The cruise people were great at providing umbrellas. The food was good, and it was plentiful. There was only Japanese spoken in the terminal before leaving and on the boat, a man stood up in the dining room and talked for a long time, but it was all in Japanese. We had no idea what he was saying. People were friendly Then, we were in a room on the lower deck. We were just supposed to stay in that room. The bar was reserved for a party. We did end up sitting up on the second deck for awhile. It was nice to see the fireworks at Disney and the lights were pretty despite the rain. Not my favorite tour.
First off, I tried to book online via their site, but the date I wanted wasn't available, so I called the number listed on their site. The price online was 8200 yen per person. When I booked by phone, the rep took down the meal we chose/cruise time, and I figured all was well. Checked my Visa the next morning, and we were charged 11000 yen each. For a party of 4, that was an additional 200. I emailed them to ask what happened, and they said they had no reservation for me. Turns out the number they have on their site redirects you to HatoBus Tours, NOT Symphony directly. HatoBus charges more, but includes a bus ride back to your hotel. Not cool.
Now, onto the cruise itself. It's pretty easy to get there, but once there, good luck finding anyone who can speak English. The calls to board are all in Japanese, but thankfully they have a tv screen showing you boarding info in English. The tour was entirely in Japanese, so no clue what we were supposed to look for.
The food: our room, the Polonaise, had maybe 30 people in it. The buffet was out when we entered the room, and some made a beeline for the food/trough. By the time our table got up to get our food, there was literally nothing left on many platters. NOTHING. We had dim sum dumplings, rice, and bread. Pretty pathetic. Also, you'll listen to the same muzak songs from the 70s Elton John, Billy Joel, etc at least 3 times on a loop.
All in all, I would never pay for this again, as it was a rip off and the redirecting to HatoBus then playing dumb via email, saying that they don't know how that happened... isn't cool at all.
Your money is better spent elsewhere.
I was very concerned with regard to this Dinner Cruise. The food on display and the variety was excellent. However the hot food was only warm and in some cases was room temperature. Back home hot food is required to be kept at 80C for health and safety reasons. Also the pre dinner talk Topic unknown went for over 10 minutes and was in Japanese. Upon on making enquires of several staff we were advised they did not speak English. I then requested that they find someone who could speak English to come and talk to me. After awaiting for 10 minutes a person arrived to advise the talk was a welcome, where the toilets were located and the then General information which was not explained to us. I guess safety procedures were also explained. We were not advised of any procedures, where the safety is located or what to do in the situation of an emergency. A number of English speaking tourists came up to me and thanked me for following up this problem as they did not understand anything that was said. In my opinion this is no way to treat tourists. I might also add that this was the only area where I encountered this Problem as other locations/Tours had English speaking persons or had English printed information. John M
The ship decor was a bit dated. The only music played was Nat King Cole. I love Nat but this was overkill. I heard Mona Lisa at least 3 times! :
The food was just OK. I would not recommend this tour.
Downside of this tour is that there was no English translation, so we were unable to understand what was being announced before dinner was served.
