We had a fantastic day with Yuko-san. She tailored the tour to our interests and we had a very enjoyable time visiting the Imperial Palace Gardens, temples and shrines, Shibuya Crossing and more. She taught us a lot about Japan, including how to get around by ourselves on the subway system which was very handy. Highly recommend this tour as a great way to see Tokyo.

Great walking tour. Taku was our guide and he was great. Very willing to customize the tour to your needs and interests. We so many of the top highlights on our first full day in Tokyo, which made the subsequent days easier. Plus, helped us with various things such as the subway, train system, etc... Highest recommendation.

We had a great time with our tour guide who helped to improve the itinerary with some personal insight. He even performed a Japanese tea ceremony in a garden. Our tour experiences ranged from traditional Japanese cultural things to fun Akihabara. He even knew how the perfect spots for taking pictures. He took the time to teach us how to use the subways/trains and we were able to use them easily the days after the tour.

This was a great private tour around Tokyo. I do a lot of private tours, and Japan Wonder Travel was responsive, flexible, and willing to customize my itinerary. The guide Hiro was friendly, knowledgeable, and acted like a friend taking me around the city to the highlights and some of her personal favorites. She pointed out culinary highlights per my request and really made the day fun. She also helped organize a last minute tour with Japan Wonder Travel the next day for me in Kyoto when my original booking through viator.com failed to confirm. After our very enjoyable day tour, she was kind enough to email me photos of the train station signs I would need the next day to get to Kyoto, and she followed up with me to make sure I had no troubles. My tour to Kyoto was just as enjoyable, and the company followed up with me to ensure I had a good time. I highly recommend Japan Wonder Travel for your visit to Japan!

this was the best spent money . Yuriko was very knowledgable and practical not to mention patient with our family of 5 - 2 adults and 3 teenagers including 2 boys. I asked what I hoped to include and she ensured that and a lot more! We just loved it!!

Our guide Noriko was a fantastic guide and this tour was the perfect introduction to Japan. We took this tour on our first day in Japan. Noriko taught us how to navigate the subway and public transportation system as well as showing us all the sites. She was very knowledgeable of the culture and history of each site. And she had friends at the sites who gave us special treats. I can't recommend a tour with her highly enough! She was fantastic!

If we could give this tour a higher rating, We would!! Our tour guide, Kazu-san was fantastic! This tour was on our very first morning in Japan and was by far the highlight of our entire week long Japanese adventure. Kazu took us to so many places that we would otherwise not know about. He knew many vendors and people around town that made our experience even better. We personally enjoyed talking with him at our lunch spot too. Perfect for the whole family! Great tour, super flexible and the BEST introduction to Tokyo!

We really enjoyed our stroll through the Emperors garden, even though it was January it was beautiful. We live in Guam so cool fresh air is always a treat. The lovely greenery made it more so. We also enjoyed our experience cooking a pancake with our guide Yukio in a local restaurant.
Walking and having Yukio explain everything was the best four hours we spent in your lovely city.

Yuriko was great! She had a lot of cultural knowledge and a lot of ideas for us to choose from since we had a mix of adults, teens and pre-teens. She helped me with our problem with JR rail tickets, then on to Shibuya crossing and walking through the pre-teens streets of Takeshita followed by a great sushi lunch . The next day was going all through Ginza, the food halls of the dept stores, some shops that only a local would know and a great shabu shabu lunch. Her English was excellent she had previously lived in the US and she was great about background and historical information as we walked through the neighborhoods.

Guide was terrific and felt like we got to experience a ton of the city in one day. Great to do in the early days of a trip so you can get familiar with the transit system.
