Universal Studios Japan Overnight Experience from Tokyo by Bullet Train

Universal Studios Japan Overnight Experience from Tokyo by Bullet Train

This overnight excursion to Universal Studios from Tokyo is the perfect hassle-free way to enjoy one of Japan’s biggest and best amusement parks.

The excitement of your Universal Studios tour begins before you even enter the park, with your arrival in the morning of your first day at Tokyo Station, where you’ll board a high-speed bullet train (Shinkansen) and take your reserved seat for the quick three-hour ride to Osaka. Upon arrival in Osaka, you’ll board the local train to JR Universal City Station, and then make the quick five-minute walk to the park, stopping at the luggage lockers just outside the park should you wish to store any belongings.

From there, skip the line and head straight into the park with your already included ticket. Universal Studios Japan is one of the country’s largest theme parks, offering a wealth of options whether you’re looking for heart-pounding roller coasters, themed worlds based on your favorite blockbuster films or kid-friendly areas packed with characters sure to please your little ones. When you get hungry, take a pit stop from the action at one of Universal Studios’ many continental restaurants and concessions stands, which can be visited at your own expense.

Some of the top park areas include The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the mascot-filled kids’ area Universal Wonderland featuring favorites like Snoopy and Sesame Street. Or enjoy other great park rides like Jurassic Park – The Ride,  The Amazing Adventures of Spider-man – The Ride 4K3D or shows like Terminator 2: 3-D and Shrek’s 4-D Adventure. Please review the Itinerary section below for a list of park rides and shows. Though it’s not likely, please note that rides and attractions are sometimes subject to changes or closure.

At the end of your day of non-stop fun, make your own way back to Central Osaka where you can relax and rest at the Hotel Granvia. In the morning, you’ll head to Shin-Osaka station for your reserved three-hour bullet train trip back to Tokyo, arriving in the afternoon of your second day.

the hotel was very spacious with a very nice view, and helpful staff.i just wish there was a way we could lengthen our stay so we could tour more of osaka and not just universal studios since its just an overnight package. but overall the experience is great with good value for money.

I loved the bullet train it was very comfortable. Universal Studios would of been alot more fun if we would of had a star pass but was told they were sold out. So we only got to ride one ride. The motel in Osaka was nice except for the bed was like a rock. It was attached to a large mall so lots of shopping. When we left to catch the train it was confusing. Luckily there was a nice gentleman that put us on the right local train then rode with us to the stop where we caught the bullet train. If we had missed it there would of been a two hour wait. People are so nice here!

Everything was great except that 1 day is not enough to see USJ. Bullet train trip was at 7 am but could be earlier to have more time.
