I would give 5 Starts if not for Viator's way of handling our situation. This is truly best way to see Toledo on your own and without stress of fallowing large group and missing on a real character of this amazing city. Our schedule required a quick change from Monday to Sunday, which Viator refused to do, regardless the fact that the tour organizer did not have any problems doing it. We just need to switch train tickets and asked for it week in advance. Clearly Viator is just middle man, who gets pay and doesn't care nor takes responsibility. You may as well save yourself a headache and find these trip directly on the tour line web site. They are fantastic, super helpful and speak better English than Viator's call center in India. We have blast and this quick one day trip was worth every penny we paid for it. Thank you Viajes Reina for putting this adventure together and all your help along the way. We will certainly look for your other offers in the future.
We had fun although when we had an issue the number that was provided for the contact did not work. Having to rely in Viator's customer service to get information from the vendor was very frustrating. Also, the information we were given about how to get the tour bus pass was wrong. It said we could go to the Tourism Office in the train station but once we did, they said we had to go out by the kiosk by the bus. Once we did that, they said we had to go to the bus. It would have been much easier to have the correct information up front.
Great way to see Toledo from Madrid. Get to the train station early to find ticket place and to get through security.
Pick up and drop off on coach was great. Skip the line was confusing as staff at Warner Bros were wanting us to line up at the very long entrance line in the heat!!! Staff didn’t really understand the voucher and we were lucky we went straight to group booking entrance and we were in straight away.
Transportation was simple and in hindsight we could have made arrangements for this trip entirely on our own and saved a fair amount of money. There were only two or three restaurants offered as lunch options with the tour. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant we selected but there was a fixed menu with few choices. We enjoyed Toledo and feel it was worth going to visit but this tour wasn't worth the cost.
The shop to...
The shop to pick up the Toledo card and train transport, Easy! really not sure why some people couldnt find it.
Get everything you need and expalined to you at pick up and on your way.
Toledo is great we loved it spent the day looking at lots of attractions then the rest shopping and wondering around all the streets. If we are fortunate to go again we would have loved to stay a night I can image it would be beautiful at night.
Fantastic experience and would highly recommend.
We enjoyed this trip very much. Segovia is a beautiful town and the old Roman aquaduct was definitely worth the trip. Our guide Lola was very good and very knowledgeable about the area. It was misting and rainy all day but we still enjoyed the sights.
