Why Travelers Choose This Tour
Pickup from Toronto lets you visit the Niagara Peninsula and Niagara-on-the-Lake along the way.
Your 8-hour Niagara Falls adventure begins with morning pickup from your downtown Toronto hotel. Relax in a comfortable coach as you traverse the scenic Niagara Peninsula, a lush region spotted with orchards and vineyards. Disembark at the falls and recharge with a buffet lunch before hopping on the lovely Hornblower Niagara Cruises boat. (Note: Cruise does not operate from late-October to mid-April). Stroll the deck or grab a seat inside for the float along Niagara River to the epic Horseshoe Falls. If the cruise is not operating, pop into the Imax Theater for a dramatic presentation or witness the thundering falls from land at the ‘Journey Behind the Falls’ exhibition. Finish with a visit to the stunning Whirlpool Rapids observation deck. Afterward, board your coach for the return ride to Toronto. Stop en route at Floral Clock, the charming town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, and at a local winery. Enjoy an optional tasting at own expense. Your tour ends with evening drop-off at your hotel.
Whilst the tour itself was upto expectations, and both the tour guide and driver were very friendly, knowledgeable and communicative, I was under the impression that we would be picked up from our hotel, given that we had booked at least 1 week in advance. As per what was stated on the website, those who booked in advance were to be picked up from their hotel etc. On the day of the tour, we were advised in the morning that we were required to travel to downtown Toronto to catch the tour from Grayline terminus. This was a bit disappointing.
This is a great tour and good value too! Our driver Don and narrator Fred were excellent. Both fun to listen to and full of stories on the area. We did the whole tour with lunch and boat ride. What a great experience! Would definitely no this again with friends. The only downside was waiting on other people who were constantly late back to the bus. Fred and Don handled them perfectly but some people just don’t listen! The weather was clear and perfect for the boat ride.
This was a very easy trip once on the bus and really included everything you needed for a one day trip to Niagara falls. The guide was quite informative and helpful in providing information while leaving Toronto as well as on the tour itself. The only issue I had was in contacting the tour company prior to the trip regarding hotel pick up. Despite emailing twice I received no response and eventually had to call which given the international call was not cheap. Pick up was not available from my hotel but another nearby. The bus was late and as I was travelling alone this made me quite uncomfortable. Communicating with guests prior to the trip would have been helpful.
An excellent day-out - a must if you're visiting Toronto!
A really good day - the hotel pick-up was secure, an expert driver/guide, you get to visit a winery - very interesting, the Falls themselves are something else, amazing, the visit to town of Niagara Falls on the way back was lovely.
Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! A day jammed full of history, nature, crafts and stunning visuals. It was so interesting to hear about how the natural features in this area helped develop Canada and the USA into the countries they are today as well as the conflicts which formed these nations.
Niagara falls were absolutely breathtaking and the very reasonably priced optional helicopter ride over the falls is truly a once in a lifetime experience. That's actually a lie because i would do this again in a heartbeat.
It was an 11 hour very exhausting day. We stopped at 2 places outside of downtown Toronto to pick up and drop off more people which added more time. The Falls were beautiful and the cruise was fun. The buffet lunch was good. We didnt stop at the floral clock. The most annoying part of the bus tour was certain tourist on our bus never came back to the meeting points on time so we had to wait for them each time. Next tour will definitely be a small group tour.
