A very interesting tour with the best guide! We loved Kensington market and even went back the following day to the bagel cafe for their delicious bagels.
Outstanding tour guide Mike who knew both history and culture and who answered everyone's questions with patience. Even as the tour was going past the appointed time he wanted to share with us his love of the city.
Our guide Matt was wonderful. He was knowledgeable, interesting, and funny. I would recommend anyone take the tour.
Our guide Mike was excellent as his commentary had just the right mix of facts and humour. I would highly recommend this tour.
The tour was excellent! Highly enjoyable and informative. Mike was funny and interesting and cool. My 14yo son had been unsure about sticking out the whole 2 hours, thinking it and #39;d be boring. But he enjoyed it too, and was amazed at how fast the time flew. Definitely recommend to anyone.
We had an excellent time as one half of a 4 person tour during our recent stay in Toronto. This was the only walking tour I booked, but it has very much sold me on booking Urban Adventures tours for future city breaks. Having already covered a large amount of downtown Toronto during our holiday, Kensington and Chinatown were completely different than anywhere we'd already been. The history component of the tour gave us a great background for what we were seeing and Mike made sure we experienced first hand the modern sights, tastes and smells of the areas. We made sure to go back to the excellent bagel shop for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our wood fired bagels. Make sure to ask him about his illustrious acting career!
Mike was a great tour guide. He was very informative and knowledgeable about the area and its history. I would highly recommend this tour with Mike.
We had a small 4 persons but very interesting group with an excellent tour guide: Mike. Mike lives in one of the neighborhoods we visited and knew the area history, local architecture, and many of the store owners. I can highly recommend this tour and Mike as a tour guide.
I Very much enjoyed the tour of Kensington, and Chinatown, it was nice to have a small group o people.
the tour guide mike had a great deal of historical knowledge. learned a lot of local history and colour
well worth the time and money invested.
Our tour guide Mike was very interesting! He gave us a lot of cultural and historical information about Chinatown and Kensington Market as well as fun commentary. Mike answered all of our questions and took whatever time we needed to fully investigate the sites on the tour. Wish we would have had more time to take additional tours.
Our tour guide Michael was knowledgeable and very entertaining! We enjoyed the tour and would definitely recommend it to others.
Me niece and I both enjoyed the tour! Interesting, fun, and well paced! Tour guide was friendly, well-spoken and informative.
I really enjoyed this two hour tour on a Sunday AM. Our guide Mike was extremely knowledgeable, accommodating, and polite. Our group lucked out because our day/time was during Kensington Market's Pedestrian Sunday so a lot of cool stuff was going on for sure. My sole negative thing to say is that some people in our group had trouble walking, so that doesn't fare the best for a 'walking' tour, but Mike really took care of everyone and even went over the allotted time to ensure everything fit.
Good guide. Well informed, pleasant, good sense of humor, gave enough information without overload, very enjoyable
Our guide was very personable and capable. Chinatown did not dwell much on the early history and Chineseness of the district, which i would have like as well - it focused more on the recent past also good.
A great way to spend a couple of hours.
Jason our guide was friendly, informative and really keen to answer our questions. We stopped for coffee and talked more. Kensington Market was really interesting with all the different eateries if you are not use to them. We was pleasent way to spend a morning.
the tour guide was friendly and informative as we did tour .enjoyed his personal experience and knowledge .there was only two of us plus guide so felt included .chinatown wasnt anything special in my opinion but kensington market was quaint and definately different.
i would say to others go with an open mind
I enjoyed the tour with Mike, he knew a lot about the area, especially where to get the only decent coffee of my whole trip. Made by an Australian now living in Toronto. Shame that I was the only person on the tour would have ben better with a couple of other people.
