Our guide, Dimitri, was great. The chateaus were very cool, he gave us a lot of interesting facts, and the private lunch was so nice. Our lunch was prepared by the Countess of one of the chateaus! Our group was small with 7 people. It was also fun getting to talk with them as well. We really enjoyed this tour!

Chenonceau was my favorite with its fascinating story and gorgeous gardens. Alex was an extremely knowledgeable guide and a joy to be with. Lunch was lovely too, tasted many of the area’s specialties with all the new friends that I made on the trip.

Great experience. Our guide Dimitry was the perfect combination of being informative and giving us time to roam around on our own. His sense of humor was a bonus!
Only issue with the description of the tour is to be more clear that it’s a group tour (not private). Otherwise amazing.

It was such a small group that it felt as if I had a private one on one tour. I especially loved the homemade French lunch. I wish I had pictures but I was enjoying that moment so much that I forgot. Our guide Alex was sooooo nice and shared a lot of great information about the château’s and the towns.

This was the first time we used Viator and did not quite know what to expect. We were all (5 of us) impressed with the guide Marianne who picked us up at the Tourist Office. She was one of the best guides we ever had not just with her historical knowledge about the castles we visited but also about privat bits of information about the area. Obviously we enjoyed the visit to the castles and Marianne made the history come to life with bits of gossip about life in the various centuries. We also appreciated the lunch at Chateau de Villesavin away from the crowds of tourists. We would certainly book a tour with Viator again.
