The one excursion you cannot pass by before leaving the Trinidad

Anthony picked us up on time and gave us a foodie tour of Trinidad worthy of Anthony Bordain, while telling us the most interesting historical details of the island, full of humor. We had corn soup, ceviche, oysters, doubles, local gyros and home made ice cream. All locally fresh made and of mind blowing flavors i have never experienced before. Especially the gyros blew my mind. I would highly recommend booking this tour with Anthony as it was way worth the time, money and total culinary cultural fun.

If you want to taste some of the best street food in Port of Spain, take this tour! Anthony knows all the best spots to hit and you won't find them on your own. We had a blast seeing the city at night. Anthony is passionate about his home and is a great host who shares the history and cultural influences that make Trinidad unique!

Best tour in Trinidad.

This was the first of three tours that we took on our long weekend trip to Trinidad. And by far the best !We landed Saturday afternoon and hit the ground running and went for the dinner tour with Anthony! It couldn't have gone better. He is full of so much knowledge, it really made the food tour special. He was very professional, Timely, considerate, and most importantly fun! Of all the tours that we managed to squeeze in on our long weekend this is the only one that I would recommend. The food was great. Some items I like more than others. But I felt it was important to try the food of this nation; and the information provided by Anthony truly helps one feel immersed. Tip: come hungry.

A great night with a taste of Trinidad

This was over my expectations! A fun evening with five stops in different parts of Port of Spain - from the outside to the core of the city. Places you never find yourself. Upon the food, the very friendly manager take good and safe care of you, tells the story of Trinidad so you will understand the mixed culture of the food. It was worth the money!My only complain is how the Avitor work: bad confirmation function. Try to get confirmation details direct from the organizer. This have nothing to do with the food adventure in Port of Spain.

The food was amazing! Though, I figured a food tour would be us eating local food for the entire three hours. But, it's almost like we're driving most of the time to get to the next meal. So, that's the only problem I had. I would've wanted to eat the entire time because that's what was advertised to me.

Anthony was such a gracious and knowledgeable host for this tour! It was fantastic! If you want to taste real Trini food--this is the tour to go on! So many different kinds of foods---local soup, rotis, doubles, gyros, and even ice cream! Anthony was able to provide in-depth knowledge about the history of Trinidad and also how the food reflects Trinidad's unique immigrant history. I was completely stuffed mid-way through the tour---there is so much food! And, it was all tasty. For some of you who might worry about street food--don't. I ate all kinds of food on the tour and didn't get sick at all. And, you can either dial-up the spicyness/exoticness of the food or dial it down depending on your tastes. You also visit some cool parts of Trinidad at night and see how the locals hang out. It was a fantastic way to spend the evening!

This is the full food story of Trinidid and its diverse mixing pot of cultures from around the world - the tour covers great examples of Trini classics, and shows where it might be heading with the latest influences street food heaven.

The best guided food tour EVER! Before Trinidad Food Tours Anthony, I had never done one. However, I am so glad that I had the opportunity to do so because through this tour, I was not only able to try local favorite street foods/comfort foods Doubles, Corn Soup, Geera Pork Sandwich, Roti, Soursop Ice Cream, Gyros, and Oysters, but I also learned about Trinidad's extremely cultural and ethnically diverse history. Anthony, founder and guide of TFT was perfect. He was extremely professional, humorous, genuine, knowledgeable, and very proud of his country. He also very passionate about his work and it shows. By the conclusion of the tour, I was stuffed beyond satisfaction. At this point, I can return to Trinidad having been taught some of the vernacular and possibly blend in with the locals. Lol. This was the best 59 that I've spent in a long time. I will be returning to Trinidad next year to experience his other food tour options. If you haven't booked your tour already don't continue to hesitate, it will be well worth it. I promise.
