Travel to a husky farm on Kvaløya, where you meet around 300 Alaskan huskies: well-cared-for working dogs and their puppies. Arrive at a designated meeting location in the Tromsø city center before the designated departure time. Bring a scarf or snow goggles if it's snowing heavily, and wear your warmest clothes. Use of the facility's extra-warm clothes and boots are included, if you prefer.

Arrive at the Tromsø Wilderness Centre to meet around 300 Alaskan huskies, who are well-cared-for and are right at home pulling a loaded dogsled through Norway's snowy, icy conditions. You get the opportunity to meet the facility's new puppies during a guided tour of the dog yard as well as a visit to the puppy enclosure. Hear information about racing activities, the Alaskan Husky breed, and animal welfare.
During your dogsled ride, a small guest-to-guide ratio ensures personalized attention and that your sled is driven by a professional musher. Stop halfway through the course for photos and a short break in the scenic wilderness. Return to the base, and group around the campfire for a hearty Norwegian meal of bidos, a soup made with reindeer meat, vegetables, and broth. Vegetarian options are available.
This trip runs in almost all weather conditions; in the case of extreme weather, you can opt for a refund, rescheduling, or a different activity.
