Fantastic! Really enjoyed everything from super friendly guides to delish fish stew and cake. Thank you for a memorable trip to finish off our Norwegian adventure, we had an amazing time! Highly recommend to anyone wanting a thrilling day in beautiful surroundings.
Fantastic excursion with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere throughout.
Great fun, recommend having own snowmobile, my wife wasn't confident at first but loved it! And a great fish soup to finish.
We had such a fun time on this tour! The sky was clear and the views were absolutely stunning. Outside of our group, we didn't see any other people, so you really felt like you had the the entire landscape to yourself. Our guides Sam and Amelia were very friendly and patient, helping us with snow suits and training us on how to properly drive the snowmobiles. We stopped 3 or 4 times for photos at some of the more scenic spots on the route, but truth be told the entire place was breathtaking. Amelia also brought along her guide dog-in-training Freya; such a kick to see a dog riding casually in the back! Overall, we'd highly recommend this tour!!
ONE OF THE BEST DAYS!
I had booked this tour months in advance as I had a feeling it would be a popular tour, yet on the day I was told that there was just me and my boyfriend booked on as apposed to the usual 20 people. We were picked up from Radisson Blu and taken to the ferry a good hour drive away. Along the way there were beautiful views of the mountains and Norwegian countryside and once at the ferry port the views again were stunning! We boarded the ferry which was a short 10min ride over to Lyngen. Once there we were greeted by our lovely tour guides Sam, Amelia and their dog Freya. We were taken to their place where we were given helmets and offered gloves, snoods and snow suits. When we got to the snowmobiles we were given a thorough safety talk which explained all we needed to know about having fun but staying safe whilst out on the snow mobiles. Then we were off! Following our guides along a beautiful snow track leading us in and our of forrest areas and along beautiful landscapes which offered incredible views. We had many stops along the way to take in the view, have a chat and a cup of hot chocolate! Once we had visited all the beauty spots and taken as many photos as we wanted we were led back to their place where Sams aunt had prepared traditional hot soup! We had recently became vegetarian and therefore was unable to have the traditional fish soup however Sams aunt quickly russeled up a delicious vegetable soup with plenty of bread and butter- just what we needed after being out on the snow.
A truly amazing experience made even more special by the people running the tour. We loved that it was a family run business and we were made to feel like friends rather than paying customers. 100 would recommend to anyone visiting Tromso!
Absolutely amazing, the whole experience from start to finish. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. We have wanted to ride snowmobiles for a while and I have to say we couldn't have picked a better destination and company to do this with. The views are spectacular. You are taken to beautiful unspoilt locations and get the opportunity to stop and take photos. I will definitely do this again if we go back to Tromso. Thanks guys. AMAZING!!!
Fantastic day out. Great fun, super staff, breath taking scenery. Just the right balance of driving and photo opportunities. Thank you to all the team including Freya
The views are just wow!
What an amazing adventure. It really worth every penny.
The staff are very friendly and they makes sure that you are having a great time.
This has to be one of the coolest experiences I ever had.
Fantastic experience, the whole day was well organised from start to finish. The guides were friendly and informative. Whilst this is not a cheap trip I felt it was well worth the money, the drive there along with the ferry ride ensures you get to see some of the beautiful countryside. The snowmobiles were fun, in good condition and safety equipment all provided. We would do this trip again in a heartbeat.
Just amazing. Regards for Emilia, who was just no nice with our kid.
Be careful 'cause it's not easy to drive. But very thrilling. The landmark and everything so spectacular. A moment we will never forget. At the end of the day, a delicious hot soup and bread with butter.
Regards from Spain.
Highly recommend, good value, plenty of riding time, brilliant panoramic view over the Lyngen Alps you won't believe what you are seeing.
It's a highly recommended tour! Enjoyed the snow mobile so much! 2 hrs ride! Tour guide is super nice and knowledgeable!!! Hot chocolate and fish soup with bread all included too!
Good amount of time on snowmobile and good guides. Would highly recommend.
vvvvvv/good will be do in it the next time it as to be a night safari by far
My husband and I loved this tour! It was high energy and fast paced and had us wishing we could book again. Our guides were brilliant and the scenery they took us to in Norway was just beautiful to look at. The suits kept us really warm and stopping for hot chocolate on the tour helped us all warm up and have us a chance to chat in the group. The fish soup was delicious too! A word of warning the snowmobiles are not he easiest thing to drive and if you are not experienced with some sort of motorbike or quad bike then it may be very challenging to drive, especially when there was as much deep snow as we had.
Excellent trip. Expensive but well worth the money. Would highly recommend it.
This was great fun, we had to take it in turns to have a go at driving the snowmobile as you pair up on each vehicle. Not as easy to drive as you might think, but great fun. We made 3 stops while we were out for a rest and photos. At one of the stops we all had a hot chocolate. Once back at the base we were served a fish soup, which was actually very tasty. I would definately recommend giving this a go.
This tour was awesome from start to finish!! The coach and ferry ride took us past beautiful scenery. At the centre we were given clothes to keep us toasty for the trip and then we were off for our 2 hour, fast and exhilarating ride. Back at the centre we were given hot drinks and soup. What a perfect day!!
Everything was so well organised, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The snowmobiling was just fantastic, a really great day. Thank you
My partner and I really enjoyed this experience - the guides were good even with a larger group than we had expected to see.
When you've had three hours sleep and turn up for your tour to be told they've messed up your booking and actually booked you in for the previous day things aren't off to a good start. They finally get you on the afternoon tour but half a day of your holiday is wasted. Not a good start.
The actual tour was great, not a lot of time on the snowmobiles but great fun when you do get time to actually drive.
Overall a good tour but not sure if I would return. The trip from Tromos to Lyngen was nice around 1 hour and the short ferry trip was an added plus. To be honest I found the tour to lack a professional excecution. The tour started off with the representative at Tromso Safari @ Radisson Blue coming onboard the bus telling us about the adventure we were ready to join - and he made it sound amazing. He pointed out the location, interesting facts about the area we were to visit etc. Unfortunately it all stopped there. It would have been great to hear more about the nature, points of interest etc. whilst we were driving, but I do understand it was not a guided tour. However, where the tour fell flat was the actual snowmobile safari. There was absolutely nothing discussed or shared about the trip and what we were seeing - no mentioning of points of interest or history when we stopped throughout the tour. The team that toured us were all pleasant and nice but it felt very much like a family operation lacking a little professionalism at times. Interesting how they ask you to bring driver licenses but nobody ever checked them - and there were two minor accidents/mishaps on our tour. The tour was not bad nor great - would I do it again? Probably - but not with this company.
