Overview

Check out two of Mauritius’s most famous nature parks- La Vallee des Couleurs, and La Vanille Reserve des Mascareignes- in this private day tour for just you and your private party. We had a lovely day doing this excursion. Our driver Nadeem was very friendly, full of jokes and made us feel very comfortable throughout the trip, he turned up on time and the day went as planned. The vanilla nature park was good, spent about an hour and a half there and then made our way to the adventure park where we did the Nepalese bridge walk and two luge karts ride. Really good day overall

Great tour to see nature and animals

First of all - great tour! It recommend it :) We were travelling from the east side of the island, so we were sick after the long road when we arrived to La Vallée Park, we did a walk inside which is around 2h with all stops, you could do lots of different activities there (i very regret not doing a zip lining), so such a wonderful time! Then we headed to Gris Gris which has very lovely views and finally The Vanile Park - was great to see so many turtles and to be able to feed them.

A very long day

We felt that Gris Gris was a waste of time. We certainly didn’t see the waterfall going into the sea. It was just a very small beach and lots of waves and rocks. The vanilla nature park was nice - giant tortoise were in abundance but that was pretty much all. The crocs were meant to be fed at 11.30 but we waited 15 minutes but needed to meet our driver so ended up missing the crocs being fed. We then went to Vallee des couleurs. There was a lot of hard sell. We just wanted to see the coloured earth but ended up doing the zip wire, Nepalese bridge and quad bike at a cost of £237!! Had we been made aware we could just walk to the coloured earth we would have done that - the quad bike was definitely not worth the money or the wait. When visiting this place and taking part in activities make sure you take your wallet and credit cards and that your driver has plenty of time to hand around. It was nice to have the same driver throughout the day but there is a lot of waiting around for them. It was a very long day with an awful lot of driving.

Kessaven our driver, did a great job. He was a good driver and very helpful. What we realized was that the tour was better suited to younger people than we are. We cut sort some of the stops, because we both had some walking issues. We enjoyed the stop at the Vanilla Nature Park. We were able to walk thru the giant tortoises and even scratch their necks. Very interesting day.

Das war einer der besten ausflüge die wir hier gemacht haben vor allem mit den riesenschildkröten im Tierpark die man füttern und schmusen kann einfach nur toll 😊👍
