Begin with pickup at your Tulum downtown or beach zone hotel, then get a briefing on the day’s activities as you travel to Akumal, a 17-mile (28-mile) trip. Soar through the trees on a series of 10 ziplines that go deep into the lush, coastal jungle.
Pause for a buffet lunch, then spend the afternoon on an ATV; single and double vehicles are available, and you’ll be equipped with safety glasses and helmets. Follow a path to a monkey sanctuary, where rescued monkeys are being rehabilitated in a natural environment. Learn about the santuary's rescue efforts, and meet the monkey residents up close.
Make a final stop of the day at a cenote, an underground river that’s accessible through a natural hole in a limestone cave. Take a swim in the clear, fresh water before driving your ATV back out of the jungle. This tour concludes with return transfer to your Tulum hotel.
Note: while the minimum age to drive an ATV is 16, youth 5-16 may ride with an adult on a double ATV
