This tour was EXTREMELY beautiful. The guide was very nice. He lived in London for eight years, so I could relate well to him.
Wonderful experience of wandering, hiking and horse riding in the area that Chingiss Khan lived in for 17 years. Saw how nomads live, watched them cook our lunch, ate their food and admired the rugged scenery. Hiked to the nearby mountain top temple and marveled at the Turtle Rock. Held giant eagles on my leather protected forearm. Climbed to the top of the giant Ghingiss Khan statue. A very full and very satisfying day. Worth repeating some time in future. Was disappointed though by the general lack of knowledge of the guide and the reluctance to volunteer information. The transport arrangement was unsatisfactory - three of us were cramped in the back of a car.
A good day trip. Friendly guides. Lots of interesting sights. However, the guides use their own compact car, so I was crammed in the back seat with two other people. Also the drivers drove very carelessly by western standards. I really didn't feel very safe as a passenger.
I booked the service ,
Contacted the tour guide one day before the tour date , I asked for 8:30am ( start time ) the tour guide and #34; agreed and #34;
