Guided city tour of Ushuaia with museum visits
Learn about the past, present and future of Ushuaia
After hotel pickup in the morning or afternoon, stroll the streets of the La Mission neighborhood, home of the first colonial settlers in Tierra del Fuego. Continue your tour through the Solier and Brown districts, both built by immigrants in the early 1900s, during which time the city centered around the old prison. Walk past the impressive vacation homes of some of Argentina's elite families before visiting the old government home and the Provincial Legislature. Learn about the settlers who arrived in the 1980s and how that wave of new population grew Ushuaia into the city it is at present. Although Ushuaia is primarily known for its spectacular Patagonian scenery, it also boasts cultural and historical aspects not to be overlooked. Take tours of the End of the World Museum, the Old Prison of Ushuaia and the Ushuaia Maritime Museum led by your guide (museum entrance fees are your own expense). End your tour of Ushuaia with drop-off at your local hotel.

We do not recommend this trip. We thought it was waste of money. They changed the time on us and when the tour began it was on a bus for 1hr. Not worth the money.
