What You Can Expect

Private Tour: Valparaiso at Night Including Boat Ride and Dinner

See the city illuminated at night

Get picked up in the late afternoon from your Valparaiso accommodations. You’ll transfer from there to the city’s main port, where you’ll board a boat for your sunset cruise along the coast.

Enjoy the spectacular scenery of this Chilean port from the water, admiring the city’s multitude of colorful houses as they glow in the last rays of daylight. You’ll also be able to spy nearby towns including Reñaca and Viña del Mar in the distance. Return back to land and continue up to the “21 de Mayo” site, a scenic viewpoint made all the more picturesque by the city’s twinkling lights as they glow after dark.

Continue next to San Luis Square and then head to Cerro Concepción, where you can admire Valparaiso’s 19th-century architecture. You’ll proceed next to Paseo Atkinson, a famous street that’s home to the Brighton Restaurant. Pop in for an included cocktail before heading to Cerro Alegre via the Paseo Gervasoni alley. As you walk, make stops to check out the notable structures and businesses that line the walkway, including the “Renzo Pechenino,” named for a famous journalist and cartoonist, and the famous Café Turri.

Head deeper into the Cerro Alegre area as you visit Plaza Sotomayor, stroll down “Paseo Yugoslavo,” see Baburizza Place, and then finish with an included dinner at La Colombina restaurant. After your evening meal, receive a drop-off at your Valparaiso accommodations.
