Very safe and secure manner in which to get from cruise terminal to your hotel in Santiago. Driver and narrator escort were at terminal on time. Van was clean and personnel were very congenial and proactive in providing assistance and information. Highly recommended.
We were met at the cruise terminal on time. Our driver pointed out a few points of interest along the way and we were dropped off at our apartment in Santiago.
We were delayed leaving the ship and kept the driver waiting for nearly an hour. He met us with our name clearly displayed. He lifted our luggage into the car and out at our destination. The driver was polite and courteous. We were very pleased with our choice.
This was a simple transfer from the port of Valparaiso to a hotel in Santiago. The driver was waiting for us, as promised. He helped haul our luggage to the staging area for rides, which was a wild mosh of people and vehicles. He went to get his car while we enjoyed the amiable chaos of the staging area. He returned promptly and helped load us into a large, comfortable vehicle with AC. The ride to Santiago took us through the Casablanca Valley which is all farmland and wineries, reminiscent of the Northern California wine valleys. Over the foothills and into Santiago the driver got us to our hotel safely and in comfort. This was exactly what we wanted and paid for. Completely filled our expectations.
Our ship was very late in disembarking the passengers, so our driver waited 1 1/2 hours past the specified pick up time until we showed up. We had no way to contact him, but he was there when we finally arrived at the terminal. He was pleasant and safely drove us the hour and a half trip to our hotel in Santiago.

Pick up was early - which was good as we had anticipated taking longer to disembark the ship.
Car was comfortable, clean and well maintained. Good driver. The only 'complaint' - the driver had absolutely no English. Not uncommon in South America, but it would have been nice to be able to ask basic questions regarding the areas we travelled through on a two hour trip.
Overall very satisfied.
The driver, Michael, was excellent--very knowledgable and helpful.
the only complaint is that he was late 9:30 instead of 9:00 or the 8:00 I requested.

This is the only pickup we had problems with on our extensive trip and unfortunately it was the one I booked directly with Viator. Our pick up was for 9:30 AM . I allowed 1 hour for clearance but was out very quickly and notified the contact number that we were ready and available at 8:30. They said they would notify the driver. I didn't expect immediate pick up but hoped he could be a bit earlier than 9:30. I finally located HIM at the wrong exit for our cruise at 9:50. In the meantime we we're getting more stressed out as our flight connection home was involved. I was up and down to the 2 exits in use that morning for different cruise arrivals - about 200 metres apart looking for the driver. He was not there! Several attempts to call the emergency number went unanswered . I called and complained to the Uruguay office eventually.
The vehicle was in good condition and the driver presented well . He didn't speak English but that's unimportant. He just needed to be on time .
There was no bottled water offered by the way.
There is no excuse for this poor performance . It's just not good enough .
