Indian Arm Canoe Adventure

Indian Arm Canoe Adventure

Your full-day canoeing adventure begins at Deep Cove, where you'll meet your expert guide and get a brief lesson in safety and paddling before launching your canoes into the cove’s sparkling blue waters.

Paddle into the fjord, marveling at the mountains and granite cliffs towering above and the clear waters below – populated with exotic sea life like jellyfish, sea stars, crabs and many varieties of fish. As you travel along the 12-mile-long (20-km) fjord, listen to your guide’s fascinating stories of the First Nations people – the area's ancient inhabitants that built a lifestyle around the regional resources.

After some time on the water, pull to shore and enjoy a gourmet lunch including a traditional First Nations bread called bannock. Soak up the area’s unparalleled beauty as you dine, then get back on the water. While away the afternoon hours exploring the shoreline and spotting wildlife like black bears, seals and bald eagles.

Your 7-hour tour returns to the departure point by late afternoon.

This was an excellent trip, the weather was fantastic, just right for the 6 hour canoe trip. The views were spectacular and our guide,Dan was amazing, full of interesting facts about the area, the history and the wildlife. I would def recommend this trip to anyone. So close to the bustling city of Vancouver but yet seems a million miles away due to the picturesque views and tranquility.
