What You Can Expect

Seaplane Flight to Victoria with Whale Watching and Return by Ferry

Orca whale

Make sure to check in 30 minutes before your 9am call time at the Vancouver Harbour Flight Centre. Listen to a short safety briefing before takeoff.

Your flight lasts about 35 minutes, and you can easily relax with awesome views just outside your window. Fly over the Strait of Georgia as you pass the Gulf Islands below. See other big landmarks of the area, such as Saltspring Island, Mount Baker, and Butchart Gardens.

After your plane ride, head to the Inner Harbour of Victoria, and jump on a zodiac boat. Your guide will lead you on a 3-hour whale-watching journey. Make sure to have your camera out at all times, so you can snap pictures when killer whales are spotted in their natural habitat. Gray, humpback and minke whales are also known to be seen in the waters, as well as sea lions, seals, and porpoise.

End the day with a ferry ride back to Vancouver through the Active Pass, with a second chance to spot the Gulf Islands — this time from the ferry.

One word: awesome!. The trip by seaplane was amazing, the views and the experience are one of a kind. During the whaleawtching we were able to see only one whale, but it was amazing. On our way back to Vancouver we took a bus that drove to the ferry terminal and left us near to our hotel. Again, the ferry experience was incredible, the views are breathtaking. I'd come back and take the trip once again. It's worth the money!!

I very much enjoyed the seaplane flight to Victoria. The Whale watching was cold and wet, the rain was the only thing I would have changed and you can't change the weather. It was all so amazing! We saw 6 whales, our guide was great! The ferry was late but it was still all good. I HIGHLY recommend this adventure if you are ever out that way! Totally worth the money!

Take additional set of cloths you will get wet even with the suit in the zodiac
Be prepare to see NO whales
Use sunscreen!

Trip in zodiac good but will let you feeling you did ten hours of exercise

You should return by seaplane. Otherwise it would be a very long day
