Wonderful experience, breath taking views of the mountains and a good way to see experience Whistler if you don't want to take the time to drive. We chose the option of getting a bicycle instead of the shuttle to the main village from the seaplane dock in Whistler and enjoyed exploring on our bikes. We would definitely do this again.
We had a fantastic day trip to Whistler, and going by seaplane was the highlight of our trip. The pilot was a very experienced aviator and pointed out all the sights along the way. Would love to do this trip again!
Amazing view! Very well organized, a shuttle bus takes you from the plane/lake to Whistler center of town, and there is a time to pickup after, if you book round trip.
The small plane goes through the snowed mountains, beautiful! The pilots were very professional and the ride very smooth. The first pilot even pointed out for us to see some interesting locations, and he even pointed out a mountain goat! Great ride!
The float plane experience was perfect! The view was incredible, the plane left on time, the shuttle was waiting for us both ways. We took the Peak 2 Peak to the mountain top and walked around but the hikes were steep and fairly smooth with loose gravel so easy to slip. I wished I had my hiking poles. We ate lunch at Christine's at the top of Blackcomb Mountain. Lunch was fabulous as was the service. Wish we had spent more time at the top of the mountain as the afternoon in town was rather a bust. The shops are touristy and mostly for bikers. The town was hosting a mountain bike event when were were there which sounds like a common occurrence. In retrospect I wish we had taken the free bikes HarbourAir offered and ridden into town from the lake. We ended up sitting around waiting for 7pm to arrive. There is a very nice restaurant right at the float plane dock with lovely outdoor seating if you want to get out of town late in the day. It was much cheaper booking this trip through Viator than directly through HarbourAir. We got the Peak 2 Peak senior discount significant! by booking a few days in advance on their website. We are 60 and 62, so AARP cardholders but they didn't check.
Horrible! All we received was a voucher...No pickup times, no flight times, no further communication of any sort. We actually missed our flight because of the lack of communication from this company! Thankfully, I called the tour operator directly and they had space for us on the next flight.
