Great way to see all of the city, hop on, hope off. We took both loops giving us an entire city tour, including Stanley Park. I highly recommend this tour!
we found this trip to be very informative, the guides certainly new their topic and added in extra detail. Our 2 days were on the summer winter change over which put the bus frequency to 30 minutes instead of 20 minutes and with an earlier finish time in the afternoon but still not a problem
I recommend riding the whole circuit before choosing hop-offs. even tho the recorded narrative quickly becomes boring. With one exception, the drivers were very lively and enhanced the tours with added info. One complaint: a week before taking the tour, I requested the location of the Robson stop. This request was never answered luckily the stop was near our hotel, but having the desired info would have helped our planning. The drivers seemed to be very casual about checking the boarding passes--making believe that paying for two days was a waste. The days' final circuits seemed to start a bit early. All in all, I cannot think for a better way to get an overview of the city--and what a great city it is!
Very good hop on and off service. They could use some newer equipment but the stops are well marked and easy to find.
Great way to see all parts of the city. Drivers are friendly and knowledgeable. Plenty of vehicles, so no long waits. All 4 of us loved it.
Great! Always a short wait for the next bus which also meant there was always a seat available.
We would highly recommend this hop on hop off tour as it covered all the areas of Vancouver that we wanted to see and the commentary was very informative and helpful.

A fabulous way to see the wonderful city. A must -do tour.
Great Tour of the sights. Wish we had more time to see Vancouver but looking forward to returning soon.
There are TWO Vancouver City Hop On/Off tours This one aka West Coast Sight Seeing via Trip Advisor and a trolley tour so make sure you know which company you are purchasing.
We were in Vancouver for a week, so purchased the 2-day pass. Your first day starts when they scan your ticket or voucher. For example: We got on the bus for the first time around 12:30pm on Friday. Our voucher was scanned then and that is when our first day started, so our 24 hours lasted until 12:30pm Saturday. On Saturday, we got on the bus around 9:30am and that was still part of our first day and visited a few stops. We didn't get back onto the bus until around 4pm Saturday and that scan started our second day. And we then had 24 hours from that time, which took us into Sunday at 4pm. Seems confusing a bit, but we basically got 3 days out of the 2-day pass. What a deal!
As with all things in life, some people really enjoy their job, while others just do what they have to do to get through their shift. We rode the entire route 2.5 hrs to see all the stops, then planned our visits accordingly. Our first driver was TAZ and he was fun, friendly and you can clearly tell he enjoys his job. They offer different translation options on the bus.
Their buses are blue with green and their representative wear green shirts, so they are easy to see at the various stops along the route in case you have questions or want to purchase additional tours. The bus is both covered and has an open air option in the back. However, there is a covering for the open air part if the weather is not behaving.
We recommend this tour.
This was a wonderful tour. My daughter and I had bought it after we finished a cruise. the first time on we went the whole way . then we decided which stops we wanted to get off an explore.
Great way to get a good orientation of Vancouver. Especially when youve been traveling all day. :-). We had no problem getting a seat on the bus but found that larger groups (like 6 or more) had difficulty finding g enough seats to be on the same bus.
Hop on Hop off tours our preference being Viator is the first thing we do when we arrive in a city. We are often tired from a long flight and it is wonderful to sit on a bus preferably double decker in comfort and see the city unfold in front of us while we listen to an overview of its history and other important information about the city. And so it was with Vancouver. We hopped off at 3 stops, had lunch at one of them, coffee at another and walked around and absorbed the flavour of each area.
Exceptional service and Courtesy, Bus drivers so knowledgeable about all of the local points of interest. A brilliant way to see the sights and a great way to be able to pick out your own personal places to visit
What a perfect way to see the various parts of Vancouver. We bought the 2 day pass which allowed us to ride multiple days. Taking in both the 'City Tour' portion and the 'Stanley Park' tour was perfect. Hop-On and Hop-Off also allowed individuals to get off and spend as much time at the stops that interested them the most. I would highly recommend this as a great way to see Vancouver.
This is a great way to see Vancouver and get a feeling for the whole town. It was very easy to hop-off and then get back on another bus. The pick up points seemed to be well spaced around the city. You didn't need headphones for an English commentary.
It was a great service! Really enjoyed and got the most out of our day. Great price
Highly recommend this tour. Great way to see the city and learn some of its history.
The Hop-on Hop-off Bus is an excellent way to get an overview of Vancouver. Bought a 24-hour ticket and in the afternoon on the day we arrived in Vancouver, we got on the bus and just stayed on for the whole circuit. We had a very entertaining bus driver who added his own personal touch and experiences to the pre-recorded commentary. So the morning of the next day, we knew which stops we planned to 'hop-off' and explore.
We spent time in Stanley Park, visiting the Vancouver Aquarium, then walking the seawall walk for a bit over to Brockton Point where the Totem Poles are located. We spent a little time around this area and getting a few gifts from the gift shop. From there we hopped back on the bus and hopped off over on Grandville Island and spent a few hours at the Public Market sampling way too much of the goodies found out there.
After purchasing a few more gifts, we left the Public Market on Granville Island and hopped back on the bus and rode over to Canada Place were we checked out the area as we were scheduled to depart on a cruise the next day. While we were at Canada Place, we took a ride on the Fly Over Canada attraction, which was very nice. This attaction is similar to Disney's Soarin' at Epcot .
As it was the end of our 24 hour period for the Hop-on Hop-off bus, we took a leasuirely stroll back to our downtown hotel. I would recommend the Vancouver Hop-on Hop-off Bus to anyone who would like to get around Vancouver and see the sights..
