What You Can Expect

Vancouver City Tour Including Capilano Suspension Bridge

Capilano Suspension Bridge

Make the most of your time in Vancouver! Begin your 5.5-hour sightseeing excursion with pickup from your central Vancouver hotel in the late-afternoon. Climb aboard the coach, and sit back for a guided trip through this historic seaport city.

From your comfortable vantage point, see the flying white sails of Canada Place and tour the 1,000-acre (405-hectare) Stanley Park, an urban oasis of 500,000 cedar, fir and hemlock trees. Take in amazing views of the North Shore Mountains and Burrard Inlet, and admire historic First Nation totem poles in Brockton Point. Shopping-enthusiasts will enjoy cruising down trendy Robson Street, where bustling eateries mingle with upscale retailers and independent boutiques.

Next, cross Lions Gate Bridge and head into sprawling old-growth forest. You’ll hear about flourishing local plants and wildlife, and catch some awe-inspiring canyon views. For the stout-hearted visitor, head to the Cliffwalk, a suspended, glass-bottomed walkway jutting out from granite cliffs over the Capilano River. You’ll have some free time here to grab refreshments (own expense) and perhaps take the Treetops Adventure, a thrilling series of walkways sustainably attached to centuries-old Douglas firs.

Conclude your day with a visit to Granville Island's colorful Public Market, atmospheric Gastown and Chinatown – boasting the largest Chinese population outside of China! Visitors from November to April may choose to add a stop at the Vancouver Lookout to the tour (additional expense).

Your excursion ends with drop-off at your departure point in the evening.

We absolutely loved this tour and it ended up being way more than we expected. The City Tour part covered many areas of Vancouver and provided adequate time to explore and spend individualized time at various stopovers. The stop at the Capilano Suspension Bridge would have been adequate also, but we were there on 7/2/2016 which happened to be the day after Canada Day and the Saturday of a long holiday weekend. It was VERY crowded and we had to wait for a half hour to cross the bridge, which meant our time for the other 'attractions' was cut short and we weren't able to take in everything. No fault of the tour, just the timing!

Heard about this park from this site and i am glad I decided to go. I took West Coast tour bus to reach this park so it was easy to reach and didn't have to worry about finding and paying for parking. Parking own car might be an issue during summer season.
I as happy with signs posted for all places of interest so it was easy to do the walks in reasonable period of time. Park was clean and well organized. Souvenir store had plenty of items to satisfy most tourist needs. Food was very expensive so eating good meal before arriving here might be good idea.
If you are afraid of heights consider not going on bridge. Having camera secured to your body via neck strap might be good idea since most picture taking opportunities occur when you are up high with no ground underneath so whatever you drop is gone with no chance of retrieval.

Our driver, his name I cannot recall, was fantastic! What a great way to visit another country when you have NO idea what to see or where to go! He not only gave us the information regarding landmarks and history for Vancouver and Canada but spoke to the culture trends and so much more. I only wish there was more time to hop off the bus in parts of the city and less time allotted for the Suspension bridge. The bridge itself is amazing and fun-but 2 hours is too much time at this location. Great value for the price-would recommend if visiting Vancouver for the first time!
