Excellent customer service preceding and following our flight. Good instructions preceding flight.
Flight on time. Beautiful tour.
Note: Audible tape of the tour not worth the money. Otherwise the trip is worth 5 stars.
Blessed with a sunny day, very easy getting booked in, just like a mini departure lounge with tea and coffee provided. Bit bouncy on take off but then you were off and what a wonderful experience it was helped by John out pilot. The time flew and what a smooth landing, a must when visiting Vancouver ….
Beautiful view of Vancouver out of classic Beaver Seaplane
, Aug 2019
Beautiful overall views of Vancouver and surroundings out of the small and classic De Havilland Beaver Seaplane. Good sight. Only four persons on board (inclusive the skillful and focussed pilot). Very nice part of my visit to Vancouver. I recommend it.
(Only the information at the information desk in the harbor could be a little bit better.)
This tour was excellent, simply beautiful! Everything was very organized and the time in air was excellent so everyone had amazing views all of the time. Highly recommend if you want to see Vancouver & the Howe Sound in a spectacular way!
This was my first flight on a seaplane and it did not disappoint! On our plane were three passengers including myself and the pilot- although he was young (23 years old!) he was extremely professional and fantastic at navigating! There were incredible views of the downtown area and nearby more forested areas- I only wish it lasted longer! 5 Stars for pilot and experience
I highly recommend arriving 30-40 minutes early- the office was hard to find from the side which I approached from and it took a while to find. Although I arrived 20 minutes prior to boarding, the desk agent guy was rather snarky and rude saying 'we almost left you behind' and when I explained how I got lost running between the different levels around the Convention Center he said 'well it's seaplanes- we are on the water, duh'. Fun fact- the office is not on the lowest level and the confirmation does not have a phone number to call in case you need to contact them. He also said he 'did not have time to get me an audio guide' (though he was just standing around) but I had fun regardless. 2 Stars for staff and check-in protocol and professionalism
Excluding the office staff at HarbourAir, the actual plane experience cannot be beat!
An absolutely superb experience, with a great ( female ) pilot who did her best to make the experience one not to forget. To see Vancouver from the air just a few thousand feet below was very different to seeing it from the incoming flight to the airport - much closer and real. Can't wait to do it again and although not cheap, it was worthy every penny - you get what you pay for.
I surprised my boyfriend with this as an early birthday gift (he was visiting Vancouver for the first time) and he absolutely loved it! We went on Canada Day so it was very busy at Canada Place and a little difficult to get down to the check-in area, but on a normal day I assume it would be a lot easier. The staff was all very friendly and accommodating, and the flight was beautiful. Our plane sat 13 people plus the pilot, and even though I was not right beside the window, I could still see all the gorgeous views on both sides of me. I also thought the price of the flight was good for what you get. I would definitely recommend this for anyone, whether you are just visiting or have lived here your whole life like me!
