What You Can Expect

Winter Wonderland Adventure at Vancouver’s Capilano Suspension Bridge

Holiday Lights

Get into the holiday spirit with an enchanting tour of Capitano Suspension Bridge Park. From downtown Vancouver, take a complimentary shuttle to the park (approximately 30 minutes in duration), then set off on a leisurely walk through the stunning park.

Delight in the sparkle of Christmas lights as you cross the suspension bridge, hovering 446 feet (136 meters) over the Capilano River. Allow yourself to be swept away by the magic of color, light and decorations as you walk through the trees.

Take a guided tour or history walk through the old-growth forest, where you’ll hear about flourishing local plants and wildlife. On your own, head to the Cliffwalk, a suspended, glass-bottomed walkway jutting out from granite cliffs (for the stout-hearted visitor!). Then take the Treetops Adventure, a thrilling series of walkways sustainably attached to centuries-old Douglas firs. Rise up to 110 feet (33 meters) above the forest floor!

After your forest walk, relax with some family-friendly fun. Cozy up to a craft table to decorate gingerbread cookies, make glass-blown ornaments and listen to seasonal tunes!

Ride the free shuttle back to Vancouver at your leisure.

Beautiful place. It is better to visit it in the early afternoon and stay until 5pm. Otherwise, the line would be very long.

This was so much fun - I thought I'd be scared going on the suspension bridge because I was on one in the Amazon Rain Forest that terrified me, but this bridge was not only beautiful and an easy walk across, it was fun! The lights everywhere were amazing. I am glad I experienced it in December. Great price for what you get, which includes a free 30-minute shuttle. A must to visit when in Vancouver!
