Interpreti Veneziani Ensemble Baroque Concert with Dinner

Listen to glorious baroque music at an ensemble concert in Venice

Treat yourself to an elegant and authentic evening in Venice with this specially designed combo package. Begin your night at the highly rated Osteria Leon Bianco, where your individual party will have a reservation for a three-course, pre-show dinner. Savor an appetizer and first and second courses featuring either meat or fish. You can purchase wine and other drinks from the bar to complement your meal.
After dining for about 1.5 hours, make your way to the nearby Church of San Vidal, an approximately 10 minute walk from the restaurant (directions will be provided). This 17th-century former church has been repurposed as an intimate concert venue and is home to the critically acclaimed Interpreti Veneziani chamber music ensemble.
Take your seat among the beautiful surroundings and lose yourself in the glorious sounds of Baroque compositions performed with passion by the talented musicians. Admire the altar painting by Renaissance master Carpaccio and the lofty cathedral ceilings, which provide ideal acoustics for classics such as Vivaldi’s ‘The Four Seasons’ and Mozart’s ‘A Little Night Music.’ See the Itinerary below for a full listing of upcoming performances.
Please note: This is a pre-booked dinner and concert package, not an organized guided tour.

Good food, amazing concert.

If you have time this is a nice change. The restaurant was good and the concert was excellent. Slightly confusing in finding the restaurant with the Viator directions being just off the square. Allow 1 1/2 hrs for the meal and then the walk to the church is about 10 minutes which is easy to find, but ask at the restaurant. The times given in the brochure do not agree but that is probably due to the various changes in programs offered for the concert. Our times showed concert starting at 8:30 but did not start until 9, which would have given us extra time to enjoy the meal at Osteria Leon Bianco.

The meal was very good with some nice options on a set menu. The only problem we encountered was that our waiter directed us to Chiesa di Santo Stefano rather than to Chiesa di San Vidal for the Baroque concert. Luckily, the two churches are in close proximity to each other and we weren't too late for the concert. My recommendation is that the people working at Osteria Leon Bianco need to know which church to send people to for the concert. We were fortunate that we could gain admission to the concert even though we were late.

The restaurant was very cute and the food was excellent. We had to walk ourselves to the Concert, which was easy to find. Concert was ok, seating was hard to find since we did not arrive early.

This was an excellent package with food that was good value, and service that was excellent. The concert was a wonderful presentation of Vivaldi in a mpost appropriate setting.

3 star rating: Worth doing June 2015

The concert was fantastic. Highly recommend. If you love this type of music, it is a must do. The dinner not so much. It was not that close to the show location. Food was very bland. 1 of only 2 bad meals we had during our 2 week trip to Italy. Definitely not worth the extra cost. There are multiple restaurants in the same square at the show location. Waiter automatically assumed the change from the bill was a tip.

2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better October 2015

Too little information as to where and when - we were too tired to take advantage of the concert and unsure we could find the concert location after a fantastic meal so we went back to our hotel
