Great tour, but one day is not enough. Too much to see, but our guide did an excellent job!!
Amazing tour!!! Verona had such amazing history and character and it was a beautiful town. Our guide was native and I loved her passion for her city. It made the tour quite enjoyable. Note your group will take a train back to Venice on your own and it takes an hour. You arrive back somewhat late.
Loved this tour, although it was a LOT of walking. Didn't realize Verona was so beautiful, our guide was excellent. We picked up the tour from Venice and everything went smoothly.
This was a great tour of Verona. There's lots of walking as our guide showed us around the sights of the city.
The guide was good and very informative.
I love these small group tours. There were 6 in our group. A driver drove us to Verona from Venice. A guide was waiting for us in Verona who gave us walking tour of Verona. Verona was a beautiful city with a lot of history. The Colosseum in Verona was still in use. Andrea Bocelli was scheduled to perform there in 10 or days. Well preserved old wall inside Benetton store was very interesting to see. We had free time to eat lunch or shop. The guide pointed out few restaurants and we had the best pasta with truffle ever and wine for 16 euros!!!!!! We returned to Venice on train. Really enjoyed and am glad we got the tour as it took hassle out and just enjoy the place.
I thought this was a fantastic tour. We were fortunate to have a small group only 3 of us which probably made the tour even more fun. I honestly didn't realize how much history is in Verona. The description mentions Romeo and Juliet but we barely talked about them. With that said, it's not a bad thing because Verona is very interesting regardless of Romeo and Juliet. Also, if you want to try some local cuisine you can find some good horse/donkey dishes which are pretty good!
The tour guide was just wonderful and really knew her history. Just fell in love with this place and this city has the best pizza. One of my favorite movies is Letters from Juliet and this is where is was filmed.
Loved the day in Verona. Our guide was knowledgeable and provided a lot of history of the city. We had been to Venice a few times so it was a nice change to get outside the city and this tour was a good fit for us. Very well done and would highly recommend.
I'm really happy my husband and I decided to take this tour. It was great. Our guide Lucas was very knowledgeable, he was a local from Verona so you could tell he was passionate about the history of the city. I will highly recommend it.
Excellent tour of Verona. Our tour guide was very knowledgable of Verona and its history. We will definitely visit Verona again.
This tour was amazing! Our guide was amazingly knowledgeable and passionate about the city. She took us everuwhere and suggested places to eat. She allowed photo stops and even arranged a taxi at the end to the station (and accompanied us to put us on the train!) as it was too hot to walk! Brilliant
I would highly recommend this trip the tour guide was great and really knew his city. It is a walking tour.
Had a wonderful day on my Verona day trip!! Our guide Susie was fantastic, she was so knowledgeable about everything, she taught me so much I never knew about Verona and made me love this city even more. We saw lots of the main sights including Juliet's balcony which was full of people, but there is also so much more to see here. Our driver from Venice was very friendly as well and made the drive to Verona pleasant. Susie recommended a nice place to eat lunch with local delicacies and suggested we the polenta, horse meat and Amarone wine. Thoroughly enjoyed my day, Susie even walked us to the train station to make sure we made it on the train back to Venice, she went above and beyond for us. I highly recommend this tour for people wanting to learn more about the beautiful city of Verona.
Perfect! Amazing tour guide the best we ever had. Great information, friendly, enthusiastic. Would love another tour with her!
Very knowledgable tour guide. Beautiful city, well worth the visit.
Loved Verona! Very quiet and peaceful town. This tour had all the must dos including Juliet's Balcony. Tour guide was very passionate about the town.
The tour was breathtaking! You start out looking over all of Verona and then you walking all over the city, hitting all of the highlights. Be prepared for hours of walking! It was about 4-5 hours of walking. The day was warm so that made it difficult for some, but it's not fast or difficult walking.
The guide was very knowledgable about friendly. She told us about the history of every part we went through.
The only complaint I had was the fact that we returned by train instead of private car, which took longer.
We ended up taking this walking tour in the pouring rain. Our guide however was very good and accommodating. I would like to go back and hopefully see it when it isn't pouring!
Magnificent full day tour of Verona and all it's highlights including the Arena and Romeo and Juliet incl. 'the' balcony led by guide Luca, who was very informative and friendly throughout.
Highly recommended as a day out of Venice seeing both places in one trip.
We have used Viator wherever we go eg New Zealand, Istanbul and Verona where their organization and guides were exemplary.
This trip was amazing. Verona is a beautiful town but what made this great was our guide Luca. Luca was extremely knowledgable and we learned so much from him. He gave us plenty of time to ask questions, take pictures, and rest as well. I will definitely come back to Verona. I highly recommend this tour and if you guys can request Luca, please do because he makes the tour great.
