Our guide, Susan, was an art history professor as well as a guide. She was fantastic! She provided a rich history narrative of Venice and the Doge's Palace. As a Brit her English was excellent and she did her best to accommodate all members of our tour group. It was well worth the price and we came away with a much better understanding of Venice and its people both current and historical. Well done Susan!
My family really enjoyed our walking tour with Monica. She spoke very good English and was very easy to understand. The headsets worked great. Mind you, if you got too far away, they were intermittent or stopped but that's to be expected.
We saw many of the big sights to see, Rialto bridge, Grand Canal, San Marco Square, Doges Palace, St. Marks Basilica, but also many hidden gems.
Enjoyable for the whole family including a 10yo. Highly recommended!
Venice in itself is a site to see. That being said, it is that much better when you have some context and history to help understand the greatness behind it. Our tour guide, Moses, was perfect for this as he not only gave us the history but also helped decipher what possibly was fact from fiction. Very well versed on the history as well as the current events in Venice. Go on this tour and enjoy the day! Not that long of a tour which was perfect as only about 2 hours. We did not opt for the Doge's palace which was fine for us.
Moses / Mose .. What a star .. He gave us an excellent tour of the city full of interesting facts and infomation. A very knowledgeable guide and a pleasure to go with.
The tour was excellent and our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and informative.
It was a very comprehensive 4 hour tour. The knowledge of both the guides was impressive. If you only have a short time in Venice this tour will give you a great overview.
Gotta do the tours! We met another couple in Florence after our Venice trip, they had not done a tour, big mistake! They didn't even know that the statues rang the bell in San Marco. We got to see it happen for the first time at the top of the Basilica! Knew exactly what to do to see it happen again at the top of the Campanile. Super enthusiastic guide that made me feel like we were getting more than we paid for.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. She managed to handle the large group with ease. I especially enjoyed her first hand knowledge from living in Venice.
Our guide was very knowledgable... Much better than navigating on our own. We learned about the sites as well as Venice!
This was the best tour of our 4 days in Venice. Our tour guide was amazing, and we learned so much about Venice and all of its history. The walking tour was at a good pace, not too fast, and was extremely enjoyable! Well done!!
Excellent tour, guide was very knowledgeable and a great introduction to the city.
Having a tour was the best thing to do. I really recommend it because it is the best way to learn about the city and also to skip the line to see the majestic Saint Mark Basilica with somebody explaing to you each detail os the church
Elena was the BEST guide! Very knowledgeable, passionate and fun! She was organized and took us all around Venice. We had a wonderful experience exploring Venice and visiting St Mark's Basilica and the Doge's Palace with her. This was hands down the best tour we went on during our 2.5 weeks in Europe!
Elizabeth was a pleasure! Real and authentic! As a venetian her knowledge was second to none. She was charismatic and funny giving lots of interesting facts and finds of Venice. We found this tour insightful, the right length and very fun! Skipping the ques for Doges and St Mark's was a bonus and when inside we got some great information and time to look around! Well worth the money!
This tour was awesome! Tour guide grew up in Venice so it was perfect. The amount of time was nice, not too long, and the walking wasn't bad. Would do this tour again with 'Skip the Line' access, very nice!
Definitely recommend this tour. Our guide Franca was great, very knowledgable and passionate. Being able to skip the line is helpful as well. The tour uses headphones so you can hear the guide at all times. 3 hours is just the right amount of time. A must if in Venice for a short time.
Great tour, you do not want to miss the palace or Basilica. The guides do a very good job of giving you the history and hidden gems when conducting the tour. Definitely a must do.
Absolutely wonderful adventure. Only 6 of us in the group. Moses, our guide totally enjoyed his job and sharing the history here. We've told all in our group about this tour. It's great to take it early in your visit,. It gives you a great overview so you can go back out on your own with more confidence .
