Very nice tour. Seeing all the hidden squares and learning about the architectural styles from a very knowledgeable guide was definitely enjoyable. Venice is picturesque and Doge and #39;s palace held our interest. St Mark and #39;s basilica is also well worth the visit.
This was one of the best tours we have taken. Our guide Julia was amazing. We started off on a walking tour and she took us to places in Venice we would have overlooked. We then went to San Marco and the Doges Palace. Her knowledge of Venice is incredible. She didn't stop the whole tour telling us dates, facts and making everything come to life. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Venice thanks to her.
The tour guide was very informative while being very willing to accept questions from the group.
We almost didn and #39;t book a tour in Venice, but are so glad we did and got to see some amazing sites with so much history. Our guide was very informed and you could tell she was passionate about art and architecture, so it was extra interesting to learn from her.
Fantastic tour. Our tour guid Sarah made the difference! She was really knowledgable and very personable. I would highly recommend for those wanting to learn more about St. Mark's and Doges palace.
chiara was awesome, taking us through the back streets. New her material well. Read her group. Treated as adults. Loved her. Informative and well worth the money
Our guide was amazing! She is very proud of her city and full of information, travel tips, history of the area and answered all of the questions the group had. We were awe struck with St. Mark's Basilica and the Dodges Palace this was an add-on and very much worth it. Both are beautiful and left us awestruck with the architectural details and art work.
Our guide, Susan, was an art history professor as well as a guide. She was fantastic! She provided a rich history narrative of Venice and the Doge's Palace. As a Brit her English was excellent and she did her best to accommodate all members of our tour group. It was well worth the price and we came away with a much better understanding of Venice and its people both current and historical. Well done Susan!
My family really enjoyed our walking tour with Monica. She spoke very good English and was very easy to understand. The headsets worked great. Mind you, if you got too far away, they were intermittent or stopped but that's to be expected.
We saw many of the big sights to see, Rialto bridge, Grand Canal, San Marco Square, Doges Palace, St. Marks Basilica, but also many hidden gems.
Enjoyable for the whole family including a 10yo. Highly recommended!
Venice in itself is a site to see. That being said, it is that much better when you have some context and history to help understand the greatness behind it. Our tour guide, Moses, was perfect for this as he not only gave us the history but also helped decipher what possibly was fact from fiction. Very well versed on the history as well as the current events in Venice. Go on this tour and enjoy the day! Not that long of a tour which was perfect as only about 2 hours. We did not opt for the Doge's palace which was fine for us.
Moses / Mose .. What a star .. He gave us an excellent tour of the city full of interesting facts and infomation. A very knowledgeable guide and a pleasure to go with.
The tour was excellent and our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and informative.
It was a very comprehensive 4 hour tour. The knowledge of both the guides was impressive. If you only have a short time in Venice this tour will give you a great overview.
Gotta do the tours! We met another couple in Florence after our Venice trip, they had not done a tour, big mistake! They didn't even know that the statues rang the bell in San Marco. We got to see it happen for the first time at the top of the Basilica! Knew exactly what to do to see it happen again at the top of the Campanile. Super enthusiastic guide that made me feel like we were getting more than we paid for.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. She managed to handle the large group with ease. I especially enjoyed her first hand knowledge from living in Venice.
Our guide was very knowledgable... Much better than navigating on our own. We learned about the sites as well as Venice!
This was the best tour of our 4 days in Venice. Our tour guide was amazing, and we learned so much about Venice and all of its history. The walking tour was at a good pace, not too fast, and was extremely enjoyable! Well done!!
Excellent tour, guide was very knowledgeable and a great introduction to the city.
Having a tour was the best thing to do. I really recommend it because it is the best way to learn about the city and also to skip the line to see the majestic Saint Mark Basilica with somebody explaing to you each detail os the church
