Our guide was amazing. She was so knowledgable and so patient with a few unruly tourists in our group. If you aren't spending a lot of time in Venice, do this tour.

A full day with a break for lunch - it is cultural overload at it's best. But - if your time is limited this will give you an incredible overview of the city and the parts you might want to re-visit. Our guide was amazingly well versed with the city, it's history and current event things that are on-going. Highly recommended.

Sabrina was our tour guide, and she was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable about the sites, the history, and the current state of affairs with regards to Venice. The tour was relaxed and offered time to ask questions and enjoy this beautiful city. It is a long day with lots of walking, but I felt like I received a good understanding and exploration of Venice.

The tour was amazing! We had the opportunity of walking through the small Venice's streets, to see the most important buildings. Special thanks for our guide, Paola, who's valuable explanations made our tour very interesting.

This is a great tour and comes in two parts. Our guide Sabina was very knowledgeable and passionate about Venice. Part one of the tour was a three hour walking tour which concluded with ride in a Gondola. We started at the Rialto fish markets and then walked through various areas to see the most wonderful buildings including grand churches, bridges and local neighbourhoods which all helped to reveal the development of Venice and its rich history.

After a much needed lunch break we then met again in San Marco Square for part two of the tour. Sabina guided us around the square and then took us on a wonderful tour of the Basilica San Marco with skip the line access. Both outside and inside we were again given Sabinas expert knowledge of the building and she highlighted many things you would not see or appreciate their significance without her in-depth understanding. The Basilica San Marco is magnificent.

Following the Basilica we went to the Doges Palace. Again skipping the long lines Sabina took us on a tour of the building and provided a fascinating insight into the role of the Doges in terms of the development and decline of independent Venice. Again without a guide it would be difficult to interpret the significance of the Doges and their administration led from this wonderful building.

This was a long day, but an excellent way to learn about Venice and its development plus skipping the long queues to get expert insight into two of its main historical buildings. In addition Sabina also gave information about the challenges facing Venice and the Venetians. It was also excellent value considering the ticket costs and Gondola trip. I would highly recommend the trip.
