Brilliant way of seeing Venice - which is surely one of the Wonders of the World. No aching feet and a direct route to a choice of 'sights to see'. Once we arrived at the Railway Station and turned left on the main platform we found the brightly coloured office and the lovely staff who were full of information. We were kindly escorted to the boarding boat and we were off. Enjoyed the short-cut by the Ocean Liners - nice to see some of the Ships we had actually enjoyed holidays on. Would thoroughly recommend this hassle-free way of seeing Venice and thank the staff for their friendly and helpful attitude.
Amazing for the price and luckily the weather was sublime, boats run on time and staff are helpful, got dropped off at stop number 1 near the train station and walked all the way back to St Mark's square to see the quieter areas of Venice and a different stretch of Canal Grande, Lido was also a popular stop and very pretty. Would recommend as you can sit outside at the back of the boat and view all the islands and scenery.
Wonderful! We are to use the from St Marks with our luggage to the cruise pier.the next day, at the pier we hopped on and went to Murono! Great value ! Love hop ons
It was wonderful the personal were very kind and friendly and gave us tips about how to move around. The girls host in the bus speak several languages, it was great
Fantastic. We didn't do a lot as it was December when we were visiting so very cold but we could take our luggage from our cruise ship on board and use it as a transfer to our hotel which was fabulous. Was great seeing all the sights from the water and hearing all the information. In summer I would say that this would be a must do.

The hop-on-hop off boat was a great way to get around. Unfortunately there is no commentary, apart from stop 1 which was very hard to hear. The stop at Murano was excellent though.
Its is a worthwhile trip, as it is unlimited for 24 hours. The start of the hop-on point is in the Venice station Ferrovia Compartimentale S. Lucia, right at the far end, at Lato F30.
Basically this is a boat ride around the Grand canal and Lagoon. The boat was rather noisy and the taped commentary virtually inaudible. However it is a pretty handy and economical way to get around venice avoiding the tourist crowded lanes and the other expensive seaborne options.
It was great I do recommend this tour but you must start early we did bit late so won't be able to complete all island in time
We really enjoyed this tour. We took the time to take the boat over to both Lido and Murano. Both were totally different from Venice proper. Lido looks like a great place to stay and if we return, we will book a hotel there. Murano is an interesting island and we spent some time watching the glass blower make several pieces of art. We then toured the glass museum. There are MANY shops with blown glass pieces for sale. We bought some one-of-a kind pieces for gifts while on the island. Worth a look.
This really give a wide view of Venice, goes out to Murano, doesnt go up the grand canal or close to all the action. Boats turn up on time
It was a bit of a disappointment as there is no narration as in other tours, given the history of Venice it would be nice to get some. Boats are mostly okay but the route is a bit crazy, it should stop at St. Marks in both directions, not only once.
It hit the high spots, but we were in Venice at a very busy time and boats were way overloaded
The boat tour doesn't add as much value as the Hop-On Hop-Off buses in other places. This is simply because of how Venice is constructed. The murano stop was very nice.
OK for a Water view of Venice. You see how big Venice really is
Great way to get to train station for departure if departing after 12 Noon.FIRST hop on STARTS at St Marco @ 9 30am
This is not like the hop on hop off buses tour
Only 6.stops and around
An hour between drop off and pick ups reasonable
The transportation portion was very good. I would suggest to the operators that they offer guests headsets to listen to the historical information. The boats have overhead speakers, but you miss most of the talk due to the loud boat engine combined with people talking.
The stops were difficult to find and when asking directions not a lot of people knew where it was on the Island of Murano. Came in through a complementary glass tour offered by the hotel I was staying at during my visit to Venice so I has to fine the stop on my own.
