Be ready to walk! Our guide was amazing! She was so informative! Could not get enuff! I also was impressed with the optional free 2 hour boat ride and glass factors tour! Bought some beautiful glass vases! (For friends)

Unfortunately it was rainy. The Basillica tour was a little unorganized since we were rushed from the meeting place to connect with our guide that had already started the tour.

The gondola ride was fun. The rest of the tour not that great. Huge crowd at the start waiting to get organized. Walk was too long and not that interesting. Would benefit from a midpoint refreshment break - rather than non-stop walking in the heat and humidity.

This tour was very disorganized. We were told to meet in St Mark's square however, that was difficult because the square is extremely big and there over 20 tour groups scattered throughout the square. On account of that, I missed a short section of the walking tour. In addition, there were several different tours being organized by the same company at the same time which was confusing for everyone and people were being directed to several different places at once. I also felt as though I was being rushed through the Basillca. As soon as the tour guide was done, we had to leave which should not be the case given that we paid for the tickets. This tour definitely needs to be organized better. It was a shambles

It would have been helpful to know ahead of time about the flooding of the square so that proper footwear could be acquired. We were pleased with the walking tour but very, very, very disappointed in the tour of St. Mark's and especially the Gondola Ride!!! The tour of St. Marks combined German speaking with English speaking so the SIT and listen part took twice as long leaving little time for the remainder of the tour. Also, the volume could not be turned down on my audio aide so it blarred into my ear! The half hour consisted of loading persons in the gondola and going down the corridor of gondolas out into the Canal. The ride in the Canal then was only about 15minutes if that. There was a real young couple that pushed there way into the nice seats and wouldn't share with an older couple who should have gotten the seats. I regret having spent the money on the tour package and should have done it on our own. I know better now for next time.

We were really looking forward to this tour. When we arrived we were asked to wait for the tour guide to arrived. When the tour guide arrived he and his boss got into a 20 minute screaming match in Italian about the working conditions at the tour company. It was finally solved by telling a female tour guide to take us on the tour. She had just finished a tour and was tired and seemed lackluster and frustrated about having to take us on the tour. Overall, it ruined our one day in Venice.
