What You Can Expect

Amarone Countryside E-Bike tour

Amarone della Valpolicella

After meeting your guide in the center of Verona in the morning, get outfitted with your bike and helmet. Once ready, pedal away, heading out of Verona and straight for the countryside. Once in Valpolicella, marvel at the grape vine-clad hills and the general beauty of the place. Valpolicella is well known for its wine production, ranking just after Tuscany's Chianti wine region in total Italian Denominazione di Origine Controllata (DOC) wine production.
Ride along the country roads enjoying the views and the fresh air until you reach the winery. Step inside and get ready to sample some wine. Learn here about what the chief tasting profiles are for Valpolicella wine as well as about the winemaking heritage from the region. And then sip something quite different, the more robust Amarone wine.

When the tastings are finished, pedal on your bicycle back to the center of Verona. The total bicycling distance: 12 miles (20 kilometers). This is an easy bike ride.

We had a wonderful time on our bike tour. There were only two of us, and two tour guides which made it very intimate. Izzy and Leo were spectacular, as was the winery that we biked to. The location was fantastic and the tour guide there was extremely knowledgeable. The wine was pretty good, too. I would highly recommend this, but be aware that you will be biking some distances. 12 km out, and 8 km back. two different directions

The bike tour was fantastic. The bike ride was relatively easy, our guide was great, and we loved that we took a slightly different route on the way back.
The wine tasting was impeccably done. Beautiful setting and wonderful wine. We couldn't have asked for more.
It's an excellent way to spend half a day!

This tour was well organized with Veronality. The bike ride was mostly flat and easy going. The first part was along mostly roads with traffic and a bit difficult to hear at times. However, our guide was informative and interested in sharing with us. The vineyard was top notch!

This was an amazing tour!! I had seen it a few months ago on Viator but kept it in the back of my mind should I return to the area. It was well worth the wait! I was traveling with two other friends and we had the tour all to ourselves it's shoulder season before the tourists really begin to arrive. Our guide, Benedetta, was so friendly and very knowledgeable about the region. She was very patient with us as we stopped to take photos, ask questions and pedaled or walked up some of the hills. The Villa Mosconi Bertani was beautiful and we had a private tour there as well. We even got to meet Signor Bertani, head wine maker for the estate. The only downside is I think the description said it included an olive oil tasting, which we didn't do. Even still, I highly recommend this tour for something unique to do and a chance to get outside the city.

Just wonderful! Enough miles to fully stretch one's legs after a long flight - along paved bike paths, scenic country roads and through charming neighborhoods. Bertani winery and grounds are stunning and offer a very generous tour and tasting. Our guide, Mike, was great - patient, helpful and always willing to assist. This is a must-do activity!

I was pleasantly surprised this was such a strong ride. We rode from the center of Verona north to a winery in the country. The bike paths were easy to navigate and the scenery was beautiful. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area. The wine tour was also really good. The villa was on a beautiful property with a long history.

We met up with the tour guide in the city center and were soon off on well maintained bicycles into the wine country. The tour took us around vineyards and kept us out of traffic for a good duration of the ride. It wasn't strenuous by any means, but we covered a good distance. The tour guide was extremely friendly and made the experience a lot of fun. We then ended up at the vineyard and enjoyed a private tour and tasting. This was one of the highlights of our trip.
