We went to this event last week in Verona. Our host was Sylvia, who was fabulous. Very knowledgeable and passionate about the wines that we were going to taste. The group was quite small, 4 in my group, and about another 7 people, but this enabled us to talk to everyone. The winery is in a lovely location outside the centre of Verona, it took about 30 minutes to get there by taxi - you have to organise this yourself. The wines were delicious and we ordered some to be shipped home. I thoroughly recommend this tour.

15 of us staying in Verona for an Opera at the Arena. Decided to do a wine tasting outside the town. A what a great trip we had. This place is stunning. The 16th century Villa/ mansion is beautiful with great gardens and views. The day just got better when we went inside, very hot day, and had a guided tour of the cellars. Our guide was friendly, took her time, didn't mind answering questions and her English was excellent. We tasted 6 wines, all very drinkable. accompanied with nibbles of cheese, ham and bread sticks.perfect. Plenty of water available. I am organising another trip her for next year. Also one of our group, her daughter is getting married and whilst we were there she telephoned home to tell her daughter that she has found the perfect wedding venue. This is excellent. definitely worth doing, if you like wine in a charming setting
