Begin your tour in Verona joining the guide and head toward the city center. Pop in a cafe to start with the Italian essential, an espresso, paired with a mouthwatering pastry. Head to a local and historical shop for a taste of fresh products such as Soppressa, a typical salami, paired with Monte Veronese cheese.

Then travel next to a local workshop for a behind-the-scenes look at how tortellini is made. See how the dough is mixed, rolled, and stuffed, and treat your taste buds afterward to some fresh pasta samples.

Then peruse the shelves at a local wine shop as you learn about the region’s wine production. Swirl and sip one of the local varieties, such as Prosecco, Lugana, Valpolicella, and of course the great Amarone.

Please note: Places visited during your tour are subject to change, mostly due to the weekly closing of the shops. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and any dietary restrictions are catered to. Please note this on the reservation.

Excellent tour! Irena’s delightful narration added to our enjoyment. We learned about the history & culture of the region in addition to the food & wine. Thank you

Thanks a lot for your review! Our wine and food experience is a really good way to discover Italian taste! Our food tour is a possibility to see hide edges of Verona downtown, a little outside of the touristic itinerary. Ciao, bye, see you again! :-)

Benedetta was our tour guide and she is full of energy and knows so much about her beautiful city of Verona. My brother and I had the best time on this tour. We discovered Verona through our stomachs and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was excellent, the wine tasting was super interesting and we learned so much. It was the perfect half day and exceeded all of our expectations. This is a must do in Verona. Thank you Benedetta!

Diana is an excellent and well informed tour guide/ historian. We visited shops and locations which displayed the true life.and flavor of Verona. She added color and "pop" to Verona for me. If you do not like to walk, do not sign up for.the tour. It is not a difficult walk but you are walking. Plus she added.many stops/location of interest to talk, eat, drink and learn.

We loved this tour! Our lively and friendly guide, Benedita, was a perfect representation of a warm and welcoming Italian. We visited 5 shops and enjoyed the following items: Coffee with pastries, handmade tortalonne, cheese and meats, wine tasting and gelato. Each stop was in an authentic Italian-owned and operated shop and the food was simply delicious. Don't go expecting a big meal. It's a tasting and worth every bit of your time and money. We would highly recommend this tour!
