This was an amazing tour, it was very informative and the food was beautiful. I highly recommend this tour.
Our tour guide Irene was excellent. Highly recommend this food walking tour..
Good food, good wine. Tour includes information about architecture, including fun facts such as the first advertising sign -- a whalebone hanging from an archway signifying a pharmacist had set up shop there. Food included coffee and ricini rice-based pastry and bombini custard-filled and apricot jam-filled pastries a soft salami called soppressa and Monte Veronese cheese with sliced bread three wines locally produced -- Soave Classico, Lugana, and Amarone della Valpolicella cin! cin! tortelloni large tortellini freshly made that day and gelato. Our tour guide was Kristina. She was very informative and led a nicely paced tour, not rushed and not too slow, with a good choice of local vendors.
Amazing...great combo of food and city history. Highlight of our trip.
This was a highlight of our stay in Verona. We found out so much about the city as well as the local customs surrounding food. Irena was lovely, so friendly and easy to talk to and she obviously had good relationships with all the vendors we visited. We went back to each venue during our stay, to experience the food on offer again and hopefully will do so again when we return to Verona. Hoping you had a brilliant day for your wedding, Irena.
This tour was fabulous. I really enjoyed the whole experience. We had a small group which was lovely.
We were a few minutes late had trouble finding the meeting place, but an employee very nicely helped us meet up with the group at the first stop. It was nice to learn about the food in Verona as well as learn more about its history, and it was fun to meet the other members of our small group. I also really enjoyed getting to ask questions of our guide to find out what it's like to live in such an interesting city. The different stops were fun, and the food selections were tasty.
This was a fantastic experience our tour guide Irena was amazing and informative. We have done a lot of walking tours but this one stood out from the rest.
Irene was the tour guide for my trip. She was lovely and explained how food related to the Veronese culture. We had coffee and cakes, salami, tortelini, wine and ice cream. All locally made produce and all delicious. The tour would be easily manageable for all ages, even on a hot day. Well done.
Christina and Matteo were charming and knowledgeable hosts. This is great way of orientating yourself as well as sampling the local gastronomy. Highly recommended!
Great tour and a great guide. Local guide with interesting knowledge and history of the food, town and region! Good tastings of typical food and wine and definitely worth doing!
We booked this tour last minute and so glad that we did. Beside the delicious food we were able to sample, this tour gave us lots of insight into the city of Verona. Our tour guide was perfecto! She was very caring of our nut allergy and was able to accommodate our tastings. Highly recommend!
Irene was darling, she gave us a great overview of the food a culture of Verona. Loved everything, specially the tortellini and the wine. Thanks Irene!!
One of the best tours my wife and I experienced during our recent trip to Italy. Bernadetta and Irene, our tour guides, gave an excellent tour of Verona. They included the prominent sights, as well as the insider sights. Bernadetta and Irene were friendly, enthusiastic, and engaging during the hours we spent with them. We went to many places that locals live and frequent to enjoy coffee, wine, and a large variety of great foods. We highly recommend the Verona Tour with Bernadetta and Irene!
We thoroughly enjoyed our food walking tour. Our guide Benedetta was delightful, warm, knowledgeable and patient, an absolute fountain of local knowledge about the history and architecture of Verona as well as all aspects of food, wine and la vie Italian. The places we visited were all standout, the pizza, wine and the pasta sections probably most but all memorable. Excellent value for money, truly a highlight of our trip and highly recommended. Thank you Benedetta.

Lots of fun and lots of food! Don't order a latte and expect coffee. In Italy, a latte is just warm milk. However, the owner of the restaurant we visited added a cup of espresso to my latte, and it was exactly what I wanted. Our guide was fun and informative. I love taking food tours when I visit other cities. I always feel I have had a taste of the REAL food a city has to offer and not just tourist food.
We were blessed with being the only two people on the tour. Our Guide was excellent and clearly adapted his talk to suit us. WE talk of this experience with our friends even though a few months ago. Would we repeat it ? most definitely Yes
This was a brilliant introduction to Verona. Benedicta met us only 2 of us and took us to a variety of eating places where she explained about the foods. She had chosen the most authentic shops and cafes and was extremely knowledgeable about Verona. I would strongly recommend this tour.
Our food tour of Verona was a highlight of our visit. Guide Sara was excellent in not only sharing the many tastes of the city, but also answered all our questions and shared a wealth of information about the area. We could not have been more pleased, and the gelato was the best we tried in Italy. I highly recommended this activity if you are visiting Verona.
What a lovely three hours we spent with Sara in Verona. My husband and I were the only two on the tour so it was very personal. Sara had great knowledge of the city, the food and the wine. She knew all the shopkeepers personally and introduced us along the way. Nice variety of food, just a lot to eat in three hours! But the selections of eateries was good. Everything was delicious!
I really liked this tour for the food and the social aspect. Sarah was very nice!
The tour was great! I can and #39;t remember the name of our tour guide but she took us to some lovely and unique food places, while also providing great suggestions for other sights to see and restaurants. She was born in Verona and gave us great insights into the Italian culture!
Fantastic experience! Our guide was a so friendly and personable! Would go again!
Great trip. DO NOT have breakfast first you get loads of food. Guide was good I would of liked more info on the history of the food and the city as that was lacking. Good value for money because of so much food.
