Francesca was incredibly knowledgeable and well-informed about the city and its history. She provided an enjoyable and well-organized tour while engaging both personally and professionally with our small tour group. We highly recommend this tour as it provided insight and information about Verona that we would have otherwise missed. Special thanks to Francesca!
Highly recommend this tour! Francesca was a very kind and knowledgeable guide. My Mom and I ended up having a private tour and she made sure to cover all important stops in central Verona, but was very attentive to make sure we stopped along the way if we needed to rest! Verona is beautiful!

The tour was everything we expected and more. We had read great reviews of this tour, and Leonardo was very informative and took us to many historical sites that we would have otherwise missed. Trattoria alla Colonna was a lovely lunch stop, as another reviewer also attested.
Leonardo was superb, there were 6 of us on the tour. It was so good to hear and see the history of the city from a local person. Verona is such a beautiful city with so much history we knew nothing about. Had a lovely meal at Trattoria alla Colonna on Leonardo's recommendation. Would definitely use this company again.
The guide was great. She really knew her stuff. We lucked out, as my husband and I were the only two people on the tour. It turned out to be one of the best tours we took while in Italy.
Our guide, Leonardo, was very knowledgeable and provided a thoroughly enjoyable two and a half hour tour around the beautiful sights of Verona. The tour went at a relaxing pace and we had plenty of time at every spot we visited. We would 100% recommended this tour to visitors.
Excellent walking tour with 4 friends, staying in Verona for a 3 day break. Tour lasted 2.5 hours, and there were just us 5 plus 1other. Our tour guide, Isabella was brilliant. She lives in Verona and had excellent knowledge of the history of this beautiful city, with information, stories and background that no guide book could compete with. She tweaked our tour slightly in response to one of my friends questions about the history of the city tip - check out the downstairs floor of the Benetton shop!. Her English was brilliant and the tour was small enough for us all to hear what she was telling us, and for us to ask questions as we walked round. So different from the numerous other tours we saw tredging around Verona during our stay, each with a bored looking guide trailing lots and lots of tourists who didn't seem to know where they were going or what they were looking at! We all thought the tour was excellent value, and helped us plan where we wanted to go back to and spend more time looking at later during our stay. Highly recommended!!
Excellent walking tour - great introduction to Verona. Our local guide, Isabella, shared her great knowledge of the history of Verona in a very engaging way. Highly recommend.
This tour gives you a great overview of Verona. I've forgotten our guide's name she's pregnant but she was delightful. Highly recommend this tour
Really enjoyed the tour and would definitely recommend... Thanks
This tour was so informative it was only our party of 3 on the tour. We learnt so much. Things never wld have known by going around by ourselves
Very experienced guide, who took us for a lovely walk to all beautiful and interesting parts of Verona.
Great tour, good exercise and informative guide, just do it.
This tour was incredible. It was very informative about the history of Verona.
Our guide took us on a journey that combined humour with historical fact and a little bit of romantic fiction, thrown in for good measure.
She offered interesting archaeological evidence to prove and disprove many stories that have been passed down throughout the ages.
We certainly got to discover a side of the city we would never have found using only a guide-book.
Did you know for instance, the famous balcony where according to Shakespeare Juliet would lament the return of Romeo, is possibly a carved tomb! A stone sarcophagus modified and fitted to the window long after the play was written. It turns out that one of historys most recognisable symbols of eternal love, might be little more than an empty grave but a must see nonetheless!
Perfect way to get a good overview of Verona's history and architecture. We really enjoyed this tour!

My husband and I were the only people that showed up for the tour. The guide was very accommodating and knowledgeable and her English was excellent.
Francesca was our guide, it was just a group of 3. It was the perfect way to walk around Verona and learn about the amazing sites. Verona is such a beautiful city, it is so worth exploring with a guide. We ended the tour in a nice part of town by the river, would have not been able to get there by myself! Highly recommended.
Our guide Francesca was brilliant - extremely knowledgeable and happy to answer all our crazy questions. Really unlocked the charm of this lovely city.
Francesca was a very good guide and we saw everything that we wanted to see
My wife and I were the only people on the tour when we took it, but it was a very nice overview of the history and main points of interest in Verona.
We loved this tour, Francesca was lovely and very knowledgable and since there was only the two of us on this tour we did not have to share her with a big crowd. Great value for money, I would highly recommend it.
