We thoroughly enjoyed seeing Marie Antoinette's hamlet. Take the little train out to it to save yourself the time and walking extra fee but well worth it. There are gorgeous photo opportunities throughout the tour and it was wonderful to get the full experience of Versailles, rather than just the main castle.

Much needed pass as the queues are massive. Fabulous place but there are soooo many people inside the main building it's difficult to take it all in. Gardens and other smaller buildings are quieter. Arrive in plenty of time as the site is huge. It's quite a walk to the Marie Antoinette village so be prepared, as queues for the bus transfer and hiring private buggies are too long.

A beautiful place to visit. Could have spent the whole day. Easy meeting place across from the station. Guide walked us into the palace passed the long lines and then we were given an interactive map and audio guide so we could explore at our own leisure. We hired a buggy to go to Marie Antoinettes house which saved a lot of time.
The gardens were lovely but it would have been even better before November when all the fountains were going and the choreographed music show was on. These do not operate after about November 5. We travelled there on train with 2 changes coming from near Disneyland.Lines A, B, C

The queues at the Versailles are really something that can break your spirit. The Skip-the-Line was a very good choice for us. We were in the castle in no time at all. I recommend that you set aside the whole day in order to enjoy the castle. Very interesting and entertaining. I would recommend it to anyone vising France.

Skip the line is a must! We stayed in a local hotel and had all day but didnt want to waste time standing in line. We meet at the tour guide office, a brief walk to the palace and we waited briefly before entering the palace. Headset were given to us so we were able to go through the palace at our own speed. After the palace tour we were able to enter the gardens outside and stroll through again at our own speed. There is a restaurant in the palace or you can eat outside in the garden. The palace is amazing!

I'm giving this 5 stars because you definitely want this group pass to get into Versailles. It is CRAZY CROWDED in the palace and the line getting in I don't know who'd wait hours just to get in. Once inside the palace is amazing but be warned, there's literally hundreds if not thousands of people literally crammed inside and it's difficult walking around and trying to take pics and enjoy where you are.

On the day of our tour there was a two hour strike which meant that it was a bit chaotic at the meeting pint- much confusion. However, when we arrived at Versailles we moved into the tour very quickly. It was well with it to get a skip the lines ticket rather than wait in a very long line. We had a great day at Versailles and particularly liked riding the electric bikes around the exquisite gardens.
