It is a necessity to have this pass. The tour company is very organized and our guide brought us to the Palace, navigated the many guides present and ensured we had our tickets and functioning audioguides. I recommend getting the full park pass to see the other palaces and gardens.
Worthwhile getting the skip the line tickets. It was great to be able to zoom by the long line waiting to purchase tickets to enter the Chateau.
Love this self - guided audio tour. Got to see a lot of Versailles at our own pace. Highly recommended taking this tout, and avoid the large tour groups.
It was nice to be able to skip the line. The headphones with the map was great - very clear and timing was very good.
Great choice to skip the line, spent the whole day there
We met across from the train station and were able to walk right into the door after security which was nice considering it was raining! We were handed our audio guide and were on our way. skipping the line meant more time in the garden. If you do not take this tour, you need to enter and pay separately for the palace and the gardens.
Staff were nice, audio guides worked well and we got straight through into the Palace in a matter of minutes. Meeting point was the station, so whichever time you book you enter the palace 30 minutes later
I purchased my Skip-the Line Versailles Pass from home, a Chicago suburb, and though I have I've been to Versailles a number of times in my life...I was SO HAPPY to have made this decision! I was kindly escorted by Louise to an entrance that never would have been available to me...and I had an amazing Audio Pen...I've never seen one...which allowed me to have a self-guided tour, at my own pace. I'm not a big guided tour person...so I was happy...but I'm sure that this company---when you're right there---is great for the guided tour as well. Very grateful!Ginger Johnson, West Chicago, Illinois p.s. Don't forget to ask this company exactly what your ticket includes...because it includes A LOT! Also, spend the additional 7 euros and buy a Petit Train pass so that you don't have to walk the entire estate. It is beautiful...but immense!
The best way to skip the line. You do need to count on arriving to pick-up place in plenty of time, and then plan on waiting for your group to walk to Versailles. I love it that the musical water fountains, Trianon, were all included. We had a great time and were able to by-pass hundreds of people waiting to get in.
We definitely enjoyed our trip to Versailles. With the skip-the-line pass we were able to by-pass hundreds of people waiting in the regular line. The instructions on the meeting place were simple and helped make the experience stress free. The pass included views into the Versailles Palace, The garden shows, and even Marie Antoinette's Estate, which includes the Gran and Petit Trianons. We spent the whole day admiring all the beauty and tranquility. I think the cost of the trip could have included the shuttle from the palace to Marie Antoinette's Estate, but other than that we truly enjoyed our experience.
