Been here some 40 years ago. Fantastic then and still today. As a Canadian living abroad, I'd recommend this to anyone wishing a deeper insite into BC life.
Fabulous! We enjoyed this so much. We stayed at leas 4 hours and could have spent more time. I enjoyed seeing real Academy Award and Emmy statues, They also had some real gold medals. The staff was so nice and available.
The museum was very interesting. I learned many new things during the trip. The reason I don't give 5 starts because there are so many rude chinese in there and they pushed people around so they can move it was annoying But overall, definitely recommended :
We were on limited time with a day trip to Victoria from Seattle, so only had time for a short visit. We spent a couple of hours at the museum and it was a pleasant surprise for a small venue. Well equipped with a surprising amount of artifacts and the docent's were especially friendly and informative. Next time we come it will most certainly be a stayover of at least 1 night so we can see more of the beautiful area.
It was very interesting. The staff were helpful cause it was a bit confusing in some of the exhibits.
I will go back again
The Royal BC Museum is well worth the ticket price. We only had a few hours but could have spent a whole day wandering through the exhibits.
Enjoyed Victoria. Did the Hop on Hop off bus tour and saw most of the city in a few hours. Then spent the next couple of days visiting the sites that interested us most.

I had forgotten that I've been to this museum in 2006. I remembered the first people exhibits. I think the dinosaurs is new and it is very good. Another place similar is in Calgary.
