Hallstatt looked magical, covered in all that snow. Breathtaking. This tour was the highlight of our trip.
We had a lovely time. I highly recommend.
The day I took this tour it was rainy and a little chilly but the tour was still worthwhile. Hallstatt is a wonderfully charming little town and I enjoyed all the other stops included on the tour. I was mainly visiting Vienna and this was the one non-city tour I took just to keep it from being just city. It turned out to be an excellent choice. Tour guide was pleasant, knowledgeable and flexible. Very nice tour, recommended.
Great Trip to Hallstatt with our guide Anna. Beautiful ride throughout the countryside. The snow made it more magical than it already was. The Abbey was wonderful too. We also made a stop at the Schloss Ort Castle in Gmundenon our way back to Vienna. Absolutely beautiful. My husband and I love the quaint villages.
Absolutely amazing tour! Worth all that driving. The guide was very knowledgable and made the day a breeze
It was a very long trip, but I didn't feel tired at all, as along the way to Admont Abbey, the scenery was just fantastic.
Hallstatt is really picture perfect, you can really take very beautiful photos at every corner of the small town.
Loved this tour from start to finish, the guide was very knowledgeable about the places we visited as well as the surrounding areas. There was plenty of times were we got to stretch our legs from the coach and take in the surrounding areas views, coffee and use of the facilities. I would love to do this tour again some day.

I had wanted to visit Hallstatt for some time so this tour was a highlight of our holiday and was not disappointed On the way we visited Admont Abbey which is a Benedictine monastery and has the most amazing and huge baroque library I have ever seen There are pictures of this on the internet It contains some 200000 volumes of works some dating back to the 11th century and when I asked if people were allowed to see these works I was amazed to find they could and in some cases they allowed them to be taken home. From there we went on to Hallstatt where we had about 2 hours of free time which is enough to have lunch and see most of the village and take advantage of the photo opportunities of this beautiful place. It was a bit overcast but the village is beautiful and it was autumn so more colour. On the way back we were taken to a another palace at another lake. It was a very good day but quite long due to the distance we had to travel. The guide was good and very informative.
The tour was simply awesome! Great way To spend a day around breathtaking views and immense knowledge shared by our guide Anna. She was extremely patient, had great knowledge and great guide overall. The monastery library was a treat and Halstatt was an experience everyone must opt for in Austria!
What a picturesque little town! We went in January and it was so breathtakingly beautiful. The tour was bilingual which we didn't know- Russian and English. We booked the tour in English but happen to be fluent in Russian so we got the information in both languages. On our way to Halstatt, we stopped at Admont Abbey and it was stunning. We didn't spend too much time there but it was perfect to break up the trip. After walking the library, we enjoyed a little bit of time in the snow and had so much fun! The guide was Russian but spoke great English and was very knowledgable. Overall, it was a great day trip and we saw some of the most amazing views.
We had an amazing day. The scenery, the history of the area and town of Hallstatt all like a fairy tale. Good commentaries from the tour guide, quite entertaining, we enjoyed it. There was a lot of driving, but it well worth it.
One of my best time in Vienna. Hallstatt is definitely worth the trip!

This was the highlight of our Vienna Trip. Loved every minute of it. 7 Travels and our tour guide Elena did a fantastic tour ,it was very informative and the time was well managed in guided tour and free time for the tourists.
The drive to Hallstatt was beautiful and scenic and you can't stop clicking away right up to Hallstatt. The city of Hallstatt is one destination which lived beyond it's hype. The pictures just doesn't do justice to the place. Its simply mesmerizing.
If you are looking to distress and looking for an escape from everything which is weighing you down ,this a is trip you must take . I came back feeling refreshed and energized. Better yet spend a night in Hallstatt ,its definitely worth it.
The Romanic fairy tale like atmosphere here is perfect as a honeymoon destination.
Highly recommend this tour but we next visited Salzburg and this tour from Salzburg would make much more sense!. Our drive time from Vienna, which included a visit to Admont Abbey was well worth it, but the return drive from Hallstatt seemed very long! Hallstatt, though was breathtaking and we had ample time to explore the charming village! The photo stop at Schloss Ort on the return was unhurried and peaceful after the crowds at Hallstatt. A very long, but very beautiful day!
Great tour, loved Hallstatt amongst all places. Although fanicular cable car was not part of the tour, we had arranged that separately as there was enough time to explore the place!
Magnificent part of the world, a top day out . Our guide Elina was knowledgeable professional and good company.
A wonderful day with a great guide who made everything very interesting. The scenery was amazing.
The tour guide was amazing, informative, had a lot of information to share with us. Her name was Elena. The tour itself was long but it was worth every minute of it. The weather was wonderful all day and this made the trip even more enjoyable. The scenery is just heaven. We did not want to leave the place.
I would like to express my thanks to the tour guide for her wonderful support and information. Looking forward to more trips.
Another great trip. It was a full day of exciting sights. Worth every second and Euro. Must do this again.
Saw some of the most beautiful scenery ever on this tour. From our drive through the mountains to reaching Hallstatt, it was breathtaking.
Highly recommend taking this trip, its a long day but so worth it.
Elena our tour guide was wonderful.
i went to this tour with my sister last week. this is the first time we booked it on viator site. the tour was really wonderful, anna the guide was very informative and professional. she was also very nice and pleasant. the tour was very well organized, the landscape is breathtaking. great tour!
It was inspiring and breathtaking! The guide was excellent and I really enjoyed our trip!
Elena was awesome! She was really engaging and made sure we were well taken care of. I went for a day trip by Vienna City Tours and the tour guide was not as engaging and personable. He was more going through the motions. With Elena, it's so different! Thank you, Elena!
Loved this tour. This is a small group of 16. Our tour guide was very information. She shared alot information about Austria. We had stop in Admont Abbey, the largest monastic library and oldest in Styria. the 8th wonder of the world. We then proceeded to Hallstatt, we had short photostop in Bad Ausee. can't recall exact name. We were given 2 hrs to go around Hallstatt and go around the village. After Halstatt, we had a short stop in Schloss Ort, it was very nice view and very nice venue for weddings.
Great tour with a lovely guide, the bus had wifi. Sufficient stops for breaks and the tour guide took us to all the best places.
