Not what we were looking for

Cute place but I was expecting something more upscale. It was more like a place for a children’s birthday party.

Vienna Chocolate Experience

Chocolate was good. Very disorganized with children participating without parents so they were sticking their hands into jars of toppings for the chocolate. Way too many people about 20 for one machine that dispensed the chocolate into the trays. A lot of standing around waiting. By the end couldn’t wait to leave. Could have been really good with less people and more organization.

A nice way to spend an hour on a cold day. The class was fairly basic but we got to make 3 bars and hot chocolate. We also got to look around the museum as part of this.

The Best Time in Vienna!!

Just when I thought I knew everything about Chocolate! The museum was fun and helpful, very informative. There are some updates and fixes that need to be made but we went during the late fall/Off-Season so perhaps they will fix later. Our Chef Nemo was outstanding. He guided us every single step of the way from picking our toppings, explaining the different types and melting points of chocolate, assisting with our Hot Chocolate. So much fun!! I would definitely recommend for Families or Couples!

Not Worth It.

Could be fun for kids, pointless for adults. The hot chocolate was delicious, but not worth the time or money.

An Entertaining Hour

Enjoyed the class very much. Wasn't sure what to expect but we enjoyed making our chocolate bars and hot chocolate. Don't expect to actually make the chocolate. It's already prepped and in a machine but you pour milk and dark chocolate into molds and get to add toppings (coffee beans, raisins, orange rind, marshmallows, almonds, etc.). Then you make hot chocolate using pure chocolate and add sugar, cinnamon, chipotle and decide upon using water or milk. The museum was also very interesting and informative and really worth an hour of your time if you're at all interested in chocolate, where it comes from, how it's made, history and current happenings in the forest where cocoa pods are grown. Overall, a very enjoyable time.

If you are a chocolate lover, this is an experience for you. A very complete workshop where you not only learn about chocolate, but make your own chocolate bars. Lots of fun, great instructor, spotlessly clean and hygienic. Highly recommend.

Fun and informative. Great activity for young children and adults, would visit again. The museum was interactive and it's great that you can create chocolate with lots of different toppings.
