The trip was great. Titiana our guide was wonderful. She knew her job.
I would suggest that kindly publish that for the return trip by boat would start at 4::00PM and that the duration of the trip is 1hr and 30 mins. More options for snacks on broad would be welcomed. After my Prague experience which was simply great, I sort of starved on this ride.
From the convenient hotel pick-up to disembarking the cruise ship, the entire experience was amazing and a first-class effort. I appreciated the structured morning with the very informative tour guide and, equally so, the free afternoon to do what specifically interested me. Yes, I opted for the river cruise on the Danube and it was a fitting cap to an already amazing day.
Ondrej I think I spelled it right? was a wonderful guide. He managed to keep the tour going in spite of the weather. I saw much of the city and had a great time.
It and #39;s a beautiful city.. I wish more of the attractions like the castle were included.. Bratislava is a hidden gem.. And the catamaran ride back to Vienna stole the show.. Extremely recommended; yes, not just highly but extremely recommended.. The guide was good, spoke comprehensible English..
Ilsa was my guide and what a wonderful, knowledgable person she was! Beautiful soul with a wise one and #39;s insight of the history and culture. Highly recommended!
Please buy local artisan souvenirs. You won and #39;t regret that decision.
Excellent. We were picked up from our hotel and taken to the coach. The journey of just under an hour was comfortable. We had a very good guide for the walking tour and the journey back by boat was superb. It lasted an hour and a half and the scenery was much better than the Danube River Cruise we did as part of the Vienna Combo. I would certainly recommend paying the extra to return by boat.
I really enjoyed this tour. The guide for the walking tour in Bratislava was really good. She was very informative and friendly. She gave suggestions on things to do after the tour. We had plenty of free time to have lunch, take a bus tour, and wander around and shop before taking the catamaran back to Vienna. Bratislava is really a nice city to visit and I'm glad I went on this tour.
Interesting trip this was. Old town Bratislava is splendid. A walk up to the castle is recommended as is the crossing of the bridge to get a city view from the opposite side.
Fascinating tour of Bratislava with a very knowledgeable guide. Everything well organised except the weather which made for a cold trip back along the Danube.
Still has to be done!
Martina gave an amazing tour of Prague - she was knowledgeable and we really enjoyed her narrative
Awesome Place and Tourist guide, very kind and responsible.
Wonderful trip to beautiful Bratislava. The bus trip was very quick, about an hour. In Bratislava, our guide was waiting at the bus stop. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of our guide but she was excellent lady with fluent English!. Very informative and polite. Born and raised in Bratislava she tried to give the full picture of this wonderful city. Strongly recommened the trip!
Top class day from being picked up from the hotel prompt -and a really nice guy as well, to the trip to Bratislava ,once we got off the coach we were met by our guide a really nice lady sorry I forget her name she took us on a 2hr tour of all the sights and the history this lovely little town as to offer , then we had 4-5 hrs to our selfs then back to vienna by catamaran a great 70min trip along the Danube all in all a great day out while in vienna why not see another country so different well worth it 100 recommend....
Bratislava is off of the beaten path in Central Europe, but it's a town full of friendly people and incredibly good food. We enjoyed the boat back on the Danube, as it was full of windows and easy to enjoy the cruise. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. She steered us to all of the good restaurants, and we ate at 3 of them, as the weather was a bit cold and rainy. There is a Habsburg Castle which we didn't visit, but it's an inexpensive and easy trip up to it. I recommend this tour for the interest, the value, the scenery, and the food.
Viera was an excellent guide and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour, even on a rainy cold day. My only suggestion for improvement would be to include the bus ride up to the castle on the tour. My group took the boat ride back to VIenna and it was well worth the extra money.
Excellent tour. The morning is spent with a guide who did a great job of explaining the history of the city to us. After the free lunch which was satisfactory, we had plenty of free time to explore the city on our own. After reading all the comments on here, I opted to take the boat ride back. While it was neat, there were long stretches of it where there was nothing interesting to see at all. If you are on a budget, I recommend just taking the bus back, which is faster anyway.
This was a good time, though the included meal was not at a great place. The guide was excellent and he made a real effort to ensure that we saw Bratislava and understood what we were seeing.
Excellent day trip to Bratislava....confortable coach journey, excellent guide and lovely boat trip back to Vienna, although we were so lucky with weather!! Everything went very smoothly.
1 hour from Vienna. Very quick tour seeing the parts of old toen Bratislava. I would probably do another tor for at least 2 days, but this tour opened my eyes to a beautiful city.
